We slept here for one night because there were no other alternatives available and having read some comments beforehand we were somehow expecting a bad hotel. We weren't expecting things to be so bad. Front desk staff is efficient but nowhere kind or helpful. Our rooms were at the end of the corridor on the main floor and everything looks dated and old kept with all the windows covered by heavy dusty curtains adding to an air of decadence. One of our rooms smelt terribly of tobacco as if someone had just been smoking in there and in fact, there were ashtrays everywhere and smoking was seemingly allowed wherever you pleased. As if that wasn't bad enough bed linen was filled with hairs (multiple different ones!!) and some machines (other rooms A/C units maybe?) were working outside our windows the entire night waking us up every other hour. The pool area had a good view of the city but the pool itself looked dirty with mushy brown water. Not very inviting at all. Breakfast was at most very basic and check-out dragged forever, way longer than check-in. The only positive point was that there was parking at the premises, with a guard during the night time. All in all: a nightmare, avoid at all costs.…
This hotel is just basic and near the airport. The staff are attentive and helpful, but there was a bit difficulty with communicating in English. The normal taxi fare is 50 MAD to Airport one way, but they quoted 300 MAD for pick up service. I am not sure where the calculation came from. Other than that, it is a basic hotel that met my needs.
This hotel has both pros and cons - you will have to make your own decision based on what is important to you. PROS: - very quiet location - very secure location, guarded compound for parking - large rooms with work desks - extremely fast Wi-FI (20 Mb/sec) - pleasant employees - comfortable beds - not very expensive (about 450 Dirhams single, don't pay more) - wheelchair accessible throughout - nice swimming pool and patio area - alcohol served CONS - badly needs reinvestment, still has original furniture from 30+ years ago - not clean - dirty carpets, dirt in the corners, peeling paint, overall grungy - stray cats running around in the dining room & kitchen (!) - not well maintained - several light fixtures not working in room - long walk to eat anywhere else in town other than the hotel…
Maybe the worst hotel I have been in my life. Old, dirty, no hot water, not tv working, ... What else? Avoid. Hope nobody will book this hotel..also no attention from hotel staff. Still waiting them (2 hours ago to fix the water) to only come and see where the issue is ...
I stayed here 12 years ago and hen a few days ago. I don't think it changed at all. Rooms ok, but basic. Hot shower, aircon. But tired. Staff good in reception and entrance. Restaurant, pretty poor. I would avoid. Lots of staff but look lost. Food is very basic. Tagine .... was chicken and olives, no taste. So sad. Tere is a bar. Cold in winter, no heating except reverse aircon in rooms. Pool looks good, in summer. 5 minutes from airport, and road from North to Erfoud. Good 1 day stop, Not really a weeks holiday. Overall Id stay again just for location, but there must be better in Errachidia.
