We arrived here at about 4.30 after our first day of safari in Tarangire National Park. the first think that strikes you is the drive up to the camp. it is over really rough dirt track road and you wonder what is at the end. on arrival we were met by the staff who greeted us and showed us to... A very interesting camp living among great big rock formations . Stunning expansive views of the valley below from the main dining /firepit area. The tented accomodations were comfortable, quaint and private . Food and service were good .

We were fortunate to stay two nights at this beautiful camp set up high on a rocky outcropping. The central dining/bar and firepit areas were incredibly inviting, but the best part was the stunning views from our private balcony. The tents were very well appointed and nicely decorated. The furnishings were very comfortable. The people were all extremely nice and... More

This place was simply stunning. We only had one night here as we moved each day, but it had spectacular panoramic views, lovely food, great service and very lovely lodge room with a view overlook the world! Wifi is only in the reception, but who needs wifi when you have a view and an experience like that! 100% recommend it... More

Wow, Wow, WoW. After a long and eventful day in Tarangire National Park and not knowing what to expect of our lodging, this was a beautiful way to end the day. We were warmly welcomed before being escorted to our tents which were privately tucked away in the rocky outcrops, with an amazing view from the balcony out into the... More

Mawe Ninga camp is on a hill that offers a stunning panoramic view of Tarangire park and a lake. Sunsets here are an unforgettable experience. The staff builds a fire, serves drinks and snacks and it is the perfect way to get end a day of wildlife/safari. The tents all have the same fabulous view and are posh without being... More

the photos don't do the camp justice. perched atop a bluff, when you first walk in, the view takes your breath away. the tented camps are very comfortable, and staff very friendly. location inside tarangire is terrific for doing safaris the next day, we did both a day and a night safari and saw a ton of wildlife. highly recommend.

stayed 2 nights in room 15 - elevated tents, built on large rocks and stilts; incredible views out over the national park and lakes in the far distance. Solar powered so no hot water at 8pm or 9pm at night - best to arrange your shower around 4 or 5pm when you know there will be hot water! The tent... More

Beautiful view, warm welcome, good food! Not the best we visited but would recommend! Don't count on the wifi, but being on safari that's expected and don't hesitate to ask for fruit or to specify what you would prefer eating if you're vegetarian or on a difficult/special diet

This lodge is amazing. It is inside the park and offers an amazing view. Some tents do have a better view than others, you may want to chose carefully ! We asked for some typical food, the kitchen accepted to change their menu for our table !
