Really friendly host with a cracking sense of humour, beautiful accommodation and comfy beds plus delicious home cooked food! On top of this the ability to explore the kerala backwaters which are just beautiful. A definite highlight of my stay in India!

Enjoyed the food, comfort at home, walk around the backwater and chat with the host while learning so much about kerala and India. I am glad to have also learned yoga here , even i had to wake up at 530am. Will come back to stay in the new blocks of homestay.

This place was one of the highlights of our 10 nights in Kerala. We had stayed in hotels in Kochi and Munnar and Thekkady and Alleppey but we loved this the most. We arrived about 4.00pm after our driver took a while to find it and were delighted with the canoe ride over and the friendly greeting on arrival. We...

This home stay is a suprise! Amazing quality, high standards, beautiful surroundings and a great wibe. The family is great in every way, and the owner is so nice that you END up talking for hours. We stayed 3 nights, and is was just great. Learned a lot about India in general and the backwaters in particular. Loved every second.

We spent a fortnight in Kerala over Xmas with our two sons 13 and 15. Ayana's provided an excellent strategic stopover between our journey from the hills to the coast for two nights. Vinit and his family provided an extremely warm welcome to us. The rooms were comfy with en suite bathrooms, air - con and fans and our room...

Visited for one night as part of a Geckos/Intrepid tour. On the journey up the river from Alappuzha was anticipating with trepidation the possibility of staying in a homestay in the backwaters of Kerala - doesn't really counjure the best of images in you're mind when you've stayed in some pretty basic guesthouses etc in the week before. But was...

Beautiful accommodation right on the banks of the Kerala Backwater. The owner Gopal took us for a very interesting walk around the village. The food was home cooked and delicious and the rooms comfortable. Good beds and a great shower. We also had a swim in the water there and it was beautiful. Highly recommended. I believe soon they will...

This family run homestay is just brilliant. What a find! Lovely big home, rooms well laid out with great ensuite bathrooms for every room! Not what I expected for a homestay. The owner was very friendly and took us on a wonderful evening walk around the village explaining the history and surroundings. Highly recommended.

After watching our Intrepid guide (Anant) and Vinit greet each other so warmly I had a feeling this was going to have a homely touch. The only disappointment was we only had one night there. Vinit's orientation walk was informative and fun. The canoe ride back peaceful, until the boatman had some sort of Asthma attack? The rooms were clean,...

We arrived with high expectations given other trip advisor reviews but were disappointed. First, let me start by saying the food was delicious and freshly prepared. Definitely some of the best we've had in Kerala. And we really enjoyed the Village walk and the ability to walk out the door and meander along canals on our own. But aside from...
