When I wanted to pay with dollars they offered me to exchange 1 dollar for 12000 rupees, that's 10% less than "fair" rate which is around 13360! I...

At Alam Batu, you are not a holiday maker, but a guest that has a name. I was startled more than once when I was addressed by the extremely attentive and friendly staff by my first name. This pretty much sums up the 'esprit' of the resort. For Danny Byland, the resort manager, there is nothing he couldn't do to...

Hi John

Thank you for your inquiry. A bungalow with A/C for 2 persons is Euro 125 per night including breakfast, a bungalow with fan Euro 110 per night for 2 persons including breakfast.

We usually have very few mosquitoes in our area but of course it is always possible to have a few around in the tropics. Looking forward to hear from you. Best regards, Danny

“Our favorite is number 11, close to restaurant and pool. You do not really need a room with A/C as the bungalows are built in Balinese style and the sea breeze keep them cool.”
