We stayed a week at Sunia Loka as a family party of six, occupying three bungalows. The first thing to say is that they aren't 'bungalows' as normally understood, but traditional Balinese wooden houses with high thatched roofs and a large porch area just perfect for sitting out of an evening with the fan revolving overhead. The setting is absolutely...

Had a fantastic stay at Sunia Loka Bungalows. The bungalows are perfect with a patio to sit out on in case of a rain shower and the infinity pool is stunning. The staff are very helpful and friendly and were always ready to answer any questions without being overbearing. The hotel is in a beautiful location, a short walk from...

Sunia Loka is a little piece of paradise in Pemuteran. Located on the edge of the small town and only a short stroll to the undeveloped end of the bay, it's a good place to go for some peace and quiet. The grounds and swimming pool are beautifully kept, with stunning views of the surrounding hills. The staff are friendly...

Go there if you need peace. The bungalows are really nice, balinese style with outside bathroom. The pool is fabulous and so is the garden (colorful and well maintained). The beach was not the best when we were there, but it was rainy season... The staff and the owner are welcoming and very helpful. We really enjoyed the resort and...

“The diving and snorkelling is not to miss.”

“We were a group of friends from around Australia catching up and staying at Sunialoka was the perfect place. It is off the road, down a lane, with just a few bungalows so very quiet. The pool is large and lovely, overlooking the mountains, we spent many hours relaxing there. Breakfast is included, but we decided one day that we would like to do something ourselves and they were wonderful about letting us take over the kitchen. While there is no restaurant, it didn't matter because it was an easy walk to a great selection of restaurants - the lovely lady (Elu) that cooks at Rhipidirah just along the lane does amazing local meals. We hired scooters for the week which made it very easy to get around to restaurants, spas or just exploring. The beach is only a short walk further down the lane with great snorkelling, diving is not far away. I can't say enough about how wonderful Sarah and the team at Sunialoka were. We will definitely return and look forward to catching up with them again.”
