Peace and quiet. Friendliest happiest people. Beautiful room, delicious food, worthwhile tours. Staff and owner very kind. Feels off the beaten path. Village is full of happy and friendly people. Small agricultural town up road from stunning rice fields.

Setting is nice, and the rooms good. But overall the hotel gives you the feeling it is in need of a lot more management: emptied ponds, chairs stacked up everywhere, no fire place or set tables, and worst of all: the rooms are not even being cleaned... for 135 Usd a night? Seriously? Then the staff is too lazy to...

If you want to fully escape the madness of southern Bali then head to the jungle and relax beyond words. Literally you stay in the middle of the rain forest on the side of a mountain with the most breath taking views. It doesn't get any prettier in Bali. The tents are far from tents with wooden floors and beautiful...

I needed a little escape for the weekend with my boyfriend. We wanted something exotic and isolated but comfortable and preferably with good food. We found all that in Sang Giri. Our tent was very comfortable. I loved the little porch and the sleeping bag. We had all we needed. I was worried because the tent don't have AC but...

We stayed in tent 6. This tent had a very nice view and is very comfortable. Very nice sunrise. From the resort it is an easy walk (30 min) to Jatiluwih rice terras. Luuk, thank you for your very good service!

I was delighted by the authenticity of Sang Giri - from gracious staff to surrounding tropical rainforest and food forests. I was excited to find a place to experience peace, quiet and nature knowing that my money was supporting local community and the education about Bali's natural environment. The food was amazing; fresh and delicious. Around 60% of the food...

Our stay at Sang Giri was unfortunately somewhat disappointing... When we arrived, we were welcomed by an English guy walking around in slippers and shorts while scratching his *** right in front of our face, who seemed to be the manager of the Tent Resort... He was friendly and showed us the way to our tent, which was located 179...

Good Afternoon Veerle V, I am personally saddened after reviewing your comments relating to your experience of Sang Giri and reflection regarding myself (Luke - The 'English guy'). First of all I sincerely apologise with the apparent issues that you had with myself, to my memory I explain to all guests arriving or through friendly conversation that my role is...

I stayed for three nights and I would recommend that people do the same if checking in later in the afternoon. It gave me a chance to relax in the morning & then visit some of the temples one day & then walk down to the village & rice fields the next without rushing. The whole atmosphere was fantastic. I...

The tents are very nice and comfortable and have a beautiful view on the surrounding forest. We walked through the rice fields, which were really amazing, and visited the nearby temple. We brought our own sarong and could visit the temple while ceremonies took place, making it a nice experience. The food is wonderful and we enjoyed the red rice...
