What's not to like about Alam Sari ? Although we had a room cock-up on arrival after a long day traveling from Qatar, the hotel accepted it was their error, and sorted it out. The place is a delight with staff competing for biggest smile of the day and always looking to be helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and...

Me and my wife stayed at this hotel for 8 nights in September 2016 and have to say it was the most amazing holiday we ever had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms had flower garden in it. The hotel is set in the middle of rain forest with a village nearby....

Nice budget hotel. A bit far out. A shuttle is provided about six times a day (free) however the last one is at 7:30 pm. Some of the shows etc end later than that. It takes about 20-30 minutes to drive to/from Ubud depending on the traffic. The resort is a little aged and more like a 2* however the...

Me and my partner stayed here for 5 nights and couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more. The hotel grounds were beautiful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times which was delicious and the breakfast was perfect also. The hotel organised various activities for us which was so helpful. Would definitely recommend the white...

Very nice hotel, with lovely clean rooms, great service, a good location and good food. Few highlights: The hotel organised cabs for us to get around Ubud to see all of the attractions, they also provided breakfast boxes when we were leaving the hotel before breakfast. And a lovely view from the hotel room just as the pictures show.

A really nice hotel, friendly staff and awesome guided tours. Really low prices for amazing service. Nice, daily cleaned pool open at all hours - which really comes on handy when returning late from the night markets. I would rate 6* if I could, definitely recommend staying here.

Grounds and rooms were lovely in an almost secluded location. Staff pleasant and helpful however there were chickens right near our room which woke up at midnight every night so bring earplugs! The only other thing I would say was the food menu was limited but tasty all the same.

This place is in such a stunning location. The pool is gorgeous, the staff are great and the restaurant is really good. Unfortunately there is lots of noise from the road below. If this wouldn't bother you then definitely come. They do a wonderful tour of the surrounding organic gardens and rice fields.

Where do I even start, I needed a solo trip to find myself and I chose Alam Sari after days of searching for a hotel. I got there late at night and was escorted to one of the most beautiful rooms I've ever been in and it was all mine. Alam Sari is the ideal hotel for solo travelers wanting...

Our family of adults and primary-age children loved it here. Beautifully landscaped gardens and pool and an outdoor restaurant overlooking a verdant valley. Our adjoining rooms were also lovely, with good AC when needed (and a chatty rafter-dwelling lizard!) There are steep entrance steps that would challenge the less mobile. The road is noisy with motorbikes during the day but...
