This place is incredible. I don't want to spoil it by telling all, only that if you are passing the area you are missing an incredible opportunity if you do not stay. Food, ambience, atmosphere are amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The mountains are beautiful and safe to walk in. It is like a time capsule where you... More

I am sorry it has taken me til now to write a review. Paradise Farm is situated in a stunning location away from the noises and stresses of a busy city or town. If you want to try a different experience, come here. This is not your run of the mill hotel. Paradise farm, in kitulgala is stunning. Above you are high green hills with their heads in the clouds, and below are deep gulleys with whooshing rivers. The small (but perfectly formed) resort is filled with fragrant flower plants of all colours... More

We had a very similar experience to the previous reviewer. We had a great deal of difficulty in getting our drivers vehicle up the track. He refused to use it again and we had to pay for transfers to get around when we were there. The staff were so friendly and the food great. There was only one small fan... More

Paradise Farm (the most ironic name ever). Please read to the end: It started with spending several hours finding the Farm. This involved driving down dirt tracks for directions from locals (most had never heard of the place). The roads were very poor and only really suitable for 4x4s, however our poor driver persisted in his humble sudan. Eventually we... More

Paradise Farm is a beautiful place with a lot going for it: stunning location & views, very peaceful, very cheerful helpful staff, lovely local food freshly home-cooked. There are some down-sides that are listed below, but if you take this place for what it is and its environment, it is a great break for a couple of days.... 1. It... More

We stayed here for 4 nights as part of our Sri Lanka tour this year and what a fascinating experience. The location in the middle of the jungle together with the sound of monkeys in distant trees, not to mention the exotic bird life, made it truly a paradise We had the good fortune to be there at the same time... We loved Sri Lanka generally, but this truly special gem of a place was a high point. I will be dreaming about it and wishing I was back there for a long, long time. It was beautiful -- it was like nowhere I've ever been. Better than a so-called 'luxury' resort, this place is far more special: rustic, simple and... More
