We ate here as our lovely driver told us he got a free meal if he brought guests. We obliged, and then were very grumpy. Although they make a totally decent pizza, who goes to Sri Lanka for pizza? Especially when that pizza is obscenely expensive. The view is dull & no booze is served.

After we came in the restaurant we read this bad reviews. So I told the manager I would write something positive if the food was really good. And yes the pizzas were excellent! So I keep my promess The kitchen is open so you see what happens.

Very run down rooms with dirty stained upholstery . The bathrooms are a mess with broken fixtures. It's such a pity that their rooms are in such a bad shape given they are located in such beautiful locales right on the lake.

Calamander @ Lake Gregory was a placed in a beautiful area, but the property was horribly managed. The wooden floor in the chalets was creaky and made noise when we walked. The window, sink, toilet and shower area tiles were cracked and there were random holes in the mirror. This made our family feel extremely uncomfortable. The chalet was extremely...

It's a mini Scotland in the middle of central country. We saw fog over a lake, there were lovely hills full of tea estates to drive by to get to Nuwara Eliya. I know this place as Governors Chalet. It's a small bunch of huge wooden chalet a room up and down. So big, with heaters and rattling with the...

We popped in for a quick lunch and a bathroom stop while visiting Lake Gregory. We ordered a pizza to share and were glad this was all we ordered. The pizza base was undercooked, the cheese was greasy and looked a bit stale and the toppings were out of a tin and not fresh, this was not cheap either at...

Hi all, We visited Calamander Lake Gregory 2 days back. The place is beautiful and the interior design of the room is amazing . But service is very very poor, it's not worth of the money we spent over there. We booked for half board, while having lunch when we asked for water they offered and it was charged, they...

Visited today and the service was less than commendable. The server rushed us during our visit. The food was not great. The Caesar salad was made with only iceberg Lettuce, no salad dressing. When I asked for salad dressing it took 20 minutes to get it and I was only offered maybe two ounces.
