The entire service is great! Although the hotel is not the newest, the staffs try to fulfill every need of mine. It's comfortable to talk to every staff. We had the buffet for dinner and breakfast, it is fine, but the hamburger served in the lounge bar is not good.

Actually we visit Yilan and choose this hotel every year. You can feel warm welcoming service and just relax at every corner of this hotel. Have to visit public hot spring with family or just by yourself to rest your body and mind. You can choose rooms that can see Lanyang Plain, this view can also de-stress yourself. You can...

Relaxing environment! First night after 16 hour flight and shower followed by in room soaking tub was perfect! Room had pajamas and slippers for use throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet had everything Eastern and Western that you would want. Only stayed one night but I want to return to enjoy pools and saunas.

We had 2 western-style rooms for a family break away at Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi a few days before the start of the lunar new year holidays. This resort hotel comes highly recommended but I just could not feel the magic of the place. Staff were warm, friendly and super efficient. Except for some burn marks on the carpeting our...

Stayed at Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi the first time a year ago and fell in love with the place so much so we went back again this Xmas. While we were really impressed the first time we actually found that the services were even better this year when we checked in (last year we checked in right before dinner time,...

A magnificent resort without a care in the world! The hot spring and swimming pool was fantastic for the family. Tried the fishling foot bath for the first time where the little fishes nibble on the dead skin of your feet! There are many activities we can join. From Morning walks to the fall to DIY classes throughout the day...

Strong wifi connection, good varieties of choices in buffet breakfast and dinner. Shuttle service to Taipei is convenient for travellers. My first choice in the next visit in...

My Taipei colleagues recommended a side trip to Yilan for hot springs weekend and helped us pick Hotel Royal. Very nice room, very clean, great spa and fantastic hot pools. I couldn't fit in the small outdoor tubs but lots of other bigger pools so no worries. Lot's of families enjoying the resort. Busy buffet but good quality food. Nice...

We've been there twice to spend the day, first time in the private spa, second time in the public spa. Both were very enjoyable. We went in the summer of '15 for first and '16 for second: Private Spa: Pros- private, well equipped and decorated. Cons- kids were bored after about 30 min, more expensive. Public Spa: Pros- had whole...
