At first I was skeptical of staying at a b&b. (I've never stayed at one before) For Valentines Day I wanted to plan a "staycation" for my fiance and I for Valentine's Day in our hometown. Planning my reservation was simple and easy. The host was very flexible about me paying with cash, most places won't accept it, or find...

This small, historic inn was built in the 1840s and has been meticulously restored into a beautiful bed and breakfast. The rooms are gorgeously decorated and clean. The host made a delicious full breakfast as well. He was quite nice and shared a lot of history about the place, once he relaxed a bit. He seemed to take a bit...

What a great place. What a great host. The best B&B experience we have ever had. If you enjoy historic mansions, then this place is for you. A beautiful Greek revival with the correct embellishments, presented much as it would have been in the 1850s. Mr Hirsch is the consummate host, no nonsense, and little pretense. He has a wonderful...

This is a special, special B&B. Bill is meticulous in the care of his home, his cooking and his hospitality. The governor's room was spacious, elegant and comfortable. Many B&B's have a stuffy, cramped feeling...not this one. The breakfast was fantastic and Bill had great recommendations for Chillicothe as well as our next stop, Columbus. Delightful stay...our favorite B&B of...

This is where you need to stay. Our experience was ideal. The room, the Presidents Suite, was roomy and comfortable. Excellent free WIFI, comfortable bed, great shower, street parking right in front of the Inn. The towels were exquisite - the sign of a good inn keeper. I don't think we were in need of anything. Breakfast was almost worth...

Lovely room, great breakfast, and charm of 1843 home. My wife thought the bed was super comfortable (well, I liked it too!).We also enjoyed a walk in the neighborhood to enjoy historic homes. The garden is also delightful.

My wife and I spent three days at the Atwood House and the accommodations were excellent. The owner/operator, Mr. Hirsch was the ultimate host not to mention an excellent cook. His knowledge of the historic aspects of the house and the city of Chillicothe itself were extremely interesting. We would strongly recommend this B&B to anyone wishing to spend a...

If the title of this doesn't make you want to stay then I will tell you that this B&B is in a really cool restored house that I think is from the 1800s. Super comfortable and very nice. The sheets were so comfortable that we found the brand and went and purchased a couple of pair. I would HIGHLY recommend...

Bed & Breakfasts are not for everyone, but everyone should stay at this Bed & Breakfast. The home, built in the 1840s is beautiful and Mr. Hirsh has put his touch and character into every niche. We stayed in the presidents room which just exudes history. We stayed in Chillicothe as we were attending the Tecumseh! outdoor drama and were...

My wife and I stayed at The Atwood House this Saturday when in Chillicothe to see Tecumseh. The Inn is very nice, although our particular room did not have an in-room bathroom. I didn't think this would be an issue but it was a nuisance. I don't know what kind of bedding our room had, but I had an excellent...
