Been staying here for years for the annual french Quarter Fest. The free breakfast is excellent and set you up well for the all day music prowl. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Room are getting near time for updating but otherwise all good
We were so happy with our choice of this Embassy Suites! We usually stay closer to the Quarter but this was a short, focused trip and this hotel was better located for our needs. It's within easy walking distance of The National WW II Museum,...More

Wow! This is awesome to read. Much gratitude coming your way from us for taking the time to share. It sounds like you had a very full few days while in NOLA. We take much pride in knowing we were a catalyst for you enjoying...More
Best price closest to Convention Center, nice size room, good breakfast, remodeled decor. Only downsides were heavy airfreshners throughly needed to cover up what? Mold/mildew smell? Overwhelming scent. And parking is $43/day plus valet tips.More

It's great to see that the experience for your "first timer" was so positive. Hopefully, you were able to enjoy the festival even with the rain. We hope to see you next year!

Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts

Every morning there is hot oatmeal and grits, yogurt, cereal, fruit, muffins, toast, bagels, and danishes. Juice of course. There is also biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, and breakfast potatoes. Although they do have an omelet bar, it gets so busy you’ll be stuck in que for a good 20+ minutes if they are busy. While they will never run out of food (i should think), if you want an omelet, get in line right away.
Hope this helps :)

The lighting in the room is extremely poor unless u hand in the bedroom where the terrace is. As for the cleanliness that was never an issue. I stayed several nights. The room was clean and I never saw a rodent. There was a bit of mold up by the shower head but that could happen anywhere. I also felt the room was a little dated but I did find the property to be clean. I hope this helps.
