Hotel is right in the middle of the action so make sure you can cope with that before you book. I stay in a lot of hotels in different countries and the staff here are possibly the nicest and most helpful I have ever come across. I can't rate them highly enough. Very nice rooms. High standard for a 3*

One block off Bourbon Street so convenient but quite. Breakfast was included in our price of $263/night (total after taxes). There is a $36/day valet parking but you have unlimited in and out. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. There is a bar on site, pool, courtyard and fitness center. The single king bed room we had was clean...

Our US roadtrip took us to New Orleans and based on Tripadvisor we chose Le Marais for our two night stay. Arriving at Le Marais we found the hotel to be what we hoped for i.e. a very nice boutique hotel with charming common areas. A fine mix of old style with a moden touch! The first morning we happened...

Beautiful lobby, gorgeous room. Comped us free cocktails in fun on-site bar. Wait-staff at free breakfast buffet went above & beyond: one server went out and purchased soy milk for me when told I'm lactose-intolerant! Only gave 4 rating because of noise from nearby music club.

It was a great experience staying at Le Marais for 3 nights. The rooms was very comfortable, the beds where great, very complete breakfast and lots of little touches that made it perfect, such as a card for a free drink at the bar, very nice bathroom amenities, and all the staff was super friendly, professional, patient and welcoming. In the heart of the Quarters, room very clean, employees smile and greet you every time you come in and going out. Visit some friends if mind for a bachelorette party, her Hawaii theme-at the same time the hotel was having aloha on the patio, playing games etc. We had a great time. Great staff that work the party.

4 ladies wanting to take it easy loved this place. You pay for he convenience of the location and so pricey considering the size of the room. Still we were splitting the cost so worked out for us. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. I left a folder with my tickets in the car and they brought it to...

We stayed at this hotel from 8 July to 11 July 2015. The positive aspects of the hotel were: - The staff were friendly and helpful. - Our room had a little balcony that overlooked the courtyard, which we enjoyed. - The hotel is located in the French Quarter, on a street that runs perpendicular to Royal and Bourbon streets....

Overall, the hotel is beautiful and extremely clean. I also loved the free drink tickets upon arrival. My only two pieces of constructive feedback are 1) please put some chairs on the balconies! 2) bathrooms are very cramped and the half door on the shower creates a wet mess in the bathroom after you use it! Otherwise, staff were helpful,...

I loved this hotel when I arrived. Great location, amazing pool, lovely drinks at the bar, room seemed great. Then we tried going to bed. On a Tuesday night. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
