Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

Massively over priced for the lack of service. I stayed here recently for a conference and never again. They market it as a boutique hotel - not true, it's Choice Hotel so comes with all the cheap lack of amenities you'd expect. They charged me $300 a night. At that rate the

Dear celticsgirl2, I apologize for the lack of services that the Cambria brand does not provide. It is true that we do not offer room service at our hotel. We can and should have; however, taken While we are a Choice International Hotel, we do have upgraded bathroom amenities, linen, and terry. It is certainly not the norm of our hotel that your room was not serviced. I will need to look into this with my housekeeping team. As you can tell from our reviews, this is certainly not the norm of our hotel and I apologize that you were frustrated with your stay. We will use your comments to improve and re-train staff on our expectations. Warm Regards, Taylor McInerney Assistant General Manager

The location was great! Loved the rooms and the service. We were there for a football game and couldn't have been happier with the location. I loved walking to the different restaurants and activities.

Quick walk to everything famous, wild and fun but yet you sleep soundly in a quiet location. Loved the decor. Only think is that valet is VERY high and it's the only hotel option for parking. Otherwise, loved the hotel.

The hotel is located in a reasonable quiet part of the city. Less than a 10 minute walk to the World War II Museum. The rooms are large and nicely furnished. The lobby bar is a good place to gather for an afternoon cocktail and the breakfast is very good.

Good Morning. The majority of our rooms have walk in showers and very few have tubs. We do our best to accomodate everyone, but unfortunately we do not have a way to designate rooms with tubs/showers. Warm Regards, Taylor McInerney Assistant General Manager
