This was my first trip to NO and it was perfect because of the excellent care that my husband and I received at the Audubon Cottages. It was hard to believe that we were 1 block up from Bourbon Street, it was quiet and peaceful at the lovely cottages. Everyone who worked there was so helpful and friendly and professional....

What a unbelievable experience my wife and I had.We stayed 5 days during Mardi Gras 2016 and could not have picked a better place. The host (Courtney) Chef (Alfred) and the staff went out of their way treating us like Royalty. The 1 bedroom cottage was very unique and with the private courtyard was just over over the top I...

We aim to know everything there is to know to provide each guest with outstanding accommodations and unforgettable guest service. It looks like Courtnie and the team truly met their goal! On the expensive side, but SO worth it! I went with a group of 3 couples. We all loved our rooms! We had a double cottage connected to a single room cottage and all shared a lovely living room area. The living room had a nice bar with a unique 'drawer' style cabinet fridge and freezer. Our unit also had...

The service, facilities, and location of Audubon Cottages this year for Mardi Gras was perhaps the best experience I've ever enjoyed at a hotel. The property consists of 6 great suites. Each building was a home or cottage they've assembled around a courtyard with a heated salt water pool and pool house (where they serve a great breakfast buffet). The...

We stayed here 6 days and thoroughly enjoyed the cottages. The courtyard is great, with private courtyards too. A sea water swimming pool and great breakfast too! A great place for relaxation and rejuvenation in the French Quarter. When in New Orleans, this is a great place to stay!

As a family of 4 we went on the Norwegian Cruise from NOLA to Belize and back. My wife and I love the Garden District and the French Quarter, and we wanted to stay a few days after the cruise to show our 10 year old daughter and 17 year old son the city. We have stayed in NOLA previously,...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
