Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

I have little complaint about my stay at the RSC in New Orleans! The hotel is modern, the rooms are nice (albet very small as other reviewers have said) the lobby is clean with a PJ's coffee (atho the card in the room suggests they deliver to the rooms, they do NOT). And the

This was my second stay at this property. I'm not quite sure I am being charged an additional daily fee of $15. None of the other hotels charged it and they were just as good as far as location. I came to New Orleans for a wedding and I was familiar with this hotel. I stayed

We had some trouble getting the rooms that we reserved (as to the amount of beds) but the overall stay was good. It's a great location as it's easy walking distance from the French Quater and the trolly stops right outside the front doors. Definently recommend Mother's (easy

Does the hotel have a shuttle to the airport?
I don’t believe so. On our recent visit we used UBER to the airport. We are not shuttle riders, for sure!

Can you open the windows for fresh air?
Actually I never noticed we were not in The room very much and AC was good since it was warm and muggy due to rain each day. We certainly enjoyed the convenient of this hotel location

According to a third-party site--- The resort fee includes: Fitness center access Business center/computer access Internet access Phone calls In-room safe Having stayed there, I can say the hotel is in a great location. There's a shuttle on the corner outside of their coffee shop. I liked that they had little "extras"---there's king cake in the lobby in the afternoon and you get 2 adult beverages upon check in. I'm just a sucker for free cake. lol The staff was incredibly nice and the room was comfortable and clean. I know resort fees are annoying---but it is a cute hotel and there is coffee in the room. I hope you're able to find something that suits your needs and price point. Safe travels!

I am looking for a room with walk in shower for handicapped guest.
I can't answer this with certainty either. Hotel and room access certainly are accessible. I don't know whether they have walk-in showers. Good luck. (Note: This hotel is in a great location but be aware that their "standard" room has NO WINDOWS.)
