Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.

My wife and I spent a week in New Orleans and this brunch in the French Quarter was one we were advised that we had to experience. We were not disappointed in the least. This is a complete buffet brunch and everything was cooked and prepared to perfection. We especially enjoyed

The location of this Hotel only being a short walk off Canal street and close to the casino worked well for us, but this hotel doesn't offer any parking. Parking for 24hrs starts at around $30 + so this was an expense I should have paid more attention to this fact when booking.

Spent 5 nights over Halloween with my daughter, her husband and two children. We had a two bedroom lock off on the fourth floor. It was spacious and comfortable. It was well stocked in terms of dishes towels etc. This is a very old and historic building so you have to put

Stayed here for a week's vacation. Unique kind of small place. Our suite was good sized, bedroom was small, but that happy in renovations to an older building! Things were clean, bed was very comfortable, it was nice and quiet for the most part! Gail at the front desk is a true

How much is parking nearby?
It was around 35 per day. We ubered a couple times and rented a car one day. It is a very convenient location and we felt better about eating so much since we were walking!

There was not a safe in our room. Ours was a one bedroom. The kitchen and sitting area were in one space and bed in another . I did not see any studios. Get the one bedroom if possible. Overall the best thing is location. Otherwise not much good about it. They advertise a pool but it is a dirty small puddle no sane person would put their toe in. the elevator broke down and we were on the fourth floor.

No insects - it was very clean. As far as floors, there is an elevator. It's a little slow but it works. With all of the brick, it was pretty quiet as far as rooms around and over us. The only small noise problem was that some people in the courtyard were listening to music a little late, but they stopped once asked.
