The Bourbon Orleans Hotel is well situated in the French Quarter. It has very comfortable beds in nicely decorated rooms. The Staff are very helpful and friendly. We have stayed here before & would definitely come back again when in the area. The only downside is the restaurant - it needs a makeover of the menu & staff attitude.

We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans as part of a wedding group. The location is great. We walked everywhere. The staff was great. Iced tea and apples were welcome as we came in from outside throughout the day. The bar was nice with a good band. Breakfast was expensive on the weekend but a nice selection. The pool was a...

We loved the Jazz Band in the bar. The band was outstanding I was assistant manager of Bourbon Orleans 50 years ago. I was sorry that I did not have a chance to chat with the manager. I could tell him some tales of Bouron Street of Fifty years ago.

The Bourbon Orleans is a great place to stay in the French Quarter as it is just a few feet from Bourbon Street but far enough away so when you want quiet you have some. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This was my third stay their and i plan to stay there whenever...

I used to love the Bourbon Orleans and then I fell out of love (service fell off) and now I'm in love again. The friendliness of the staff has returned. Always the greatest location in the Quarter, the most interesting building ever, and now great service again. STAY HERE

Central to all activities. The hotel was not north, south, east or west side of the Quarter, Bourbon Orleans is the heart. From Bourbon Street to the river walk to major restaurants to jazz venues, it was total fun and food in all directions.

I absolutely love this hotel along with my 3 family members. ALL the staff were exceptional and of special note were Shawn our bellhop and Brittany our waitress. The O bar was great and entertainment the BEST!!! Outstanding Hotel over all.

The location is perfect. We walked everywhere in the french quarter with no problem, and its a 3 mile uber ride to the garden district. My only gripe is that it would have been nice to know that the room was right underneath the gym. Woke at 4am to what sounded like bowling balls being dropped. Asked the maids as...

It was a great location. We appreciated the free drink coupons although we did not have the opportunity to use them this time. This is my second visit in 3 months. I have stayed here both times. The elevator was out of the way for our room and the staff elevator should be upgrade since so many guests use it.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
