This hotel is in the perfect location in the French Quarter. Friendly staff, very clean, and quiet for its location. The price paid for the accommodation is extremely fair. I will definitely rebook this hotel the next time I stay in New Orleans.

Located in old French town, not far from river bank where you can enjoy nice views. Parking would be an issue but recommend to take valet service. Staff are kind and very helpful. You can enjoy good night life although the music are not so good as expected. Roads around the area are narrow (as old fashion) and bad smelling...

We stayed at the Bourbon Orleans for 4 nights. Entire staff we encountered provided excellent service. This hotel has the best location in the French Quarter. The concierge, John Fitzpatrick, provided us with an excellent overview of the Mardi Gras experience. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel thoroughly and would book there again

The best part of this hotel is the location. The north side is on Bourbon St. and from the entrance, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral and other sites are a 1-5 minute walk. The hotel has great history; on different walking tours, it was cool to stop at our hotel and hear stories! The bar, Bourbon O Bar, is also...

Great location, rooms were very nice and very clean. The Lobby had the most wonderful smell. I don't know if it was a candle or pot pourri. Hallways were very nice and the lobby was elegant. We loved the "O" Bar downstairs. We did not eat at the restaurant, but had room service one morning and it was very good.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
