The hotel was very quaint, clean and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The price however was quite expensive, if I didn't get the wedding rate I dont think I would have paid the price for the hotel. And my mattress was very uncomfortable, did not sleep well the entire trip

Booked for last minute trip with friends and enjoyed the stay. Nice room, clean lobby, great breakfast. Entire staff greeted us kindly and were helpful. Bolton, the valet, and Diva, guest services, were extremely helpful.

This hotel is conveniently located to most attractions in the French Quarter. The lobby is pleasant and average size, bolstered by a friendly staff with a few welcoming amenities. I enjoyed two wonderful meals in restaurant--breakfast and dinner.

Very friendly staff and a great hotel right in the French Quarter but away from all the late night noise. We walked to everything and had a great time. The restaurant was excellent and we had breakfast and lunch.

Lovely hotel that epitomes New Orleans' charm. Within walking distance of French Quarter without all the bustle of Bourbon Street. Near wonderful restaurants and shopping. I would recommend this hotel for all your needs. The staff were great and very accommodating to our conference. We were there during the Mardi Gras season and they added things like King Cake, mimosas...

The location was great to all of social events. Meeting facility was great and staff very helpful on fun places to visit after working session. The entrance to the hotel can be a little difficult to get to coming off of the expressway. The intersection lights in New Orleans are a little strange. You have to go through the intersection...

Hotel was clean & nice & located in the French Quarters. Walking distance to Bourbon St. Staff was friendly. I had the room w/a balcony. Only issue is its not private, you do share with the other guest that are next door but it was nice and room did not have a microwave or fridge. The hotel is away from...

I attended for a conference. The hotel was very busy but room was still ready before check in time, and staff was very helpful. The hotel is old and bathrooms a bit dated but clean and charming and no issues that interfered with full enjoyment of the premises.

This is a hard review to write, because much of our experience at Maison Dupuy was good. But the problems were such that I'd be reluctant to take a chance on Maison Dupuy again. The good: the location of the inn, in the French Quarter, and the ambiance of the common areas (lobby, courtyard, bistro) were very nice and inviting....

Please accept my sincere apology for disappointing you in so many ways. There is never an excuse for poor service so I will offer none. It sounds as if we had multiple opportunities for service recovery, but failed each time. I am truly sorry for that. When the AC system failed, the engineer should have followed through as promised or...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
