Located in the French Quarter, Maison Dupuy was a great value. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The concierge was able to find several interesting things ha]ening the weekend we were there. The courtyard seating was excellent, although we didn't try the heated pool.

Beautiful hotel, but don't expect a good night sleep. The beds are made up with two sheets only to cover yourself. Also, if you have an adjoining room its best if its with people you are traveling with. The shared door wall allowed us to hear every conversation and song on the radio. We even woke up with out neighbor's...

In a less rowdy area of the quarter, although I'd suggest keeping the fan running at night to help with street noise and balcony parties nearby...because it IS New Orleans, afterall! Small, quaint hotel. You can tell it's an older property, but it adds to the charm. We enjoyed the outside lounge areas near the pool. Excellent value for the...

I felt that the room was over-sold. The online booking site showed different rooms that what I actually got. The online booking site said that I was booking two queen size beds. When we arrived, I was told that we would be getting two double beds. One of the reasons I chose the hotel was for the bed size. We...

Everything about this hotel is impeccable... From its charming decor, exterior courtyard and pool, to the lobby and the guest room itself!!! The employees are friendly and accommodating. The location of this hotel is quiet yet very near the popular streets, restaurants and "happenings" that are all New Orleans!! It was a real "find"!

It was an amazing experience! I would love to stay there again. The room was perfect. Breakfast was filling. The location was perfect, being 2 blocks away from bourbon. The courtyard was beautiful! I absolutely love this hotel.

This hotel is charming and so friendly. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from Bourbon street, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. I've never encountered a friendlier or more helpful staff.

Room 503 Mold in air supply grill. Return air filter covered in dust/feathers. Missed matched exposed plumbing beneath counter for dust. Dust/lint between bath counter splash and door frame. Mold in lip of toilet. Tub did not drain. Dust in acoustical tile ceiling in restroom. These things would be fine at an $89 a night room rate but not at...

Front Desk: We, 2 adults and one child arrived early, therefore our room wasn't ready. They told us that they would call us as soon as the room was ready so we stepped out to have breakfast since the hotel restaurant stopped serving breakfast @10:00. We returned back to the hotel @1:30 pm since no one had called. They were...

I appreciated all your comments about your recent stay with us. Though you made many positive comments, we still fell short by not providing a sofa bed in your first room. With the varying sizes of our guest rooms only a select few actually have a sofa within. We could have communicated that better. Thank you for your review. Steve...

The hotel was beautiful. Very relaxing courtyard and pool area. Bed and pillows comfy. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner.. I unusually do but forgot it. I am mixed on the location. During the day it's nice.. off the beaten path but the later night hours can feel a little sketchy. No fault of the hotel it is lit up...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
