I can't say enough about this hotel. YES I was nervous because it's haunted BUT they ghosts were respectful and didn't make their appearance. This hotel is filled with the most polite, wonderful staff! Everyone was SO AMAZING! I wish I could have tipped everyone that said hello and asked how my day was! Redfish at Criollo was THE BEST,...

Stayed at Hotel Monteleone twenty years ago and knew exactly where to book upon my return and it proved to be just as good as it was back then. Actually even better because last trip was a conference and this trip was leisure only. The service overall is excellent. The rooftop pool and view is so beautiful. The music and...

The Hotel Monteleone is a delightful place to stay in New Orleans. Well-situated near lots of fun things to do, such as the streetcar lines, shopping and Preservation Hall for jazz. The staff is warm and gracious, and the hotel is classically lovely. The historic Carousel Bar is a treat to visit. And the dining in the Criollo restaurant is...

Hotel was clean & staff were professional. I would definitely stay here again! I am gluten free and the staff went out of their way to make sure I knew what was safe to eat. I was here for a conference and all of the conference facilities were great (view, seating, A/V, & meals).

Multiple times asked for more towels or more ice bags for the ice bucket (due to a leg injury that needed icing) and was told they would be "right up" and never showed up. Laundry was lost for several days and we were still charged for it. Internet was often unavailable. But it was in a convenient part of the...

I had one of the best visits. My housekeeper, Karian Elzie, made my visit more like home. My thanks for the wonderful stay and great service. I will be telling friends and family. I'll be taking a back to Nola in June for a wedding and I'm most definitely will be coming back here!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
