Our Deluxe King room was rather small but pretty and clean and with all the conveniences and several amenities, however our window was tiny and the shutters didn't open, only the slats, so that was a bit claustrophobic The buffet breakfast was adequate but not special. The courtyard was pleasant and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only a...

My husband and I recently spent 3 days at Hotel Mazarin. The location was perfect for walking in the French Quarter. The rooms are well appointed and spectacularly clean! The breakfast each morning was delicious although by the third day it was a little repetitive. Coffee was delicious. Sometimes, it was a little loud from the courtyard but I can't...

Stayed here for a business trip, the hotel is beautiful and well kept. Staff is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Great location close to Bourbon street, within walking distance of everything you need. Breakfast was good, WiFi fast.

Had a room overlooking the courtyard with king bed and double sinks in the bathroom. The room was spotless, the bed comfortable and the other amenities were spot on. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent, easily saved $20 per person per day on that. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The overall feel of this hotel was fabulous, the rooms were spotless, it's in a great location. However, I did have an incident where my room was "broken into" (I say this with quotes because the team at the time said it was because I didn't close my door all the way) I was not taken seriously and they did...

Great hotel right in the middle of everything in the French Quarter and yet not too noisy. We visited the week before Mardi Gras, so imagine it would be noisy then. Nice friendly staff and the doormen are a great source of information and genuinely helpful. Definitely would stay here again as more than just a hotel room. Breakfast was...

While it is only half a block from all the clamber of Bourbon Street, it is clearly another world. Very quiet. Very helpful, friendly staff. Rooms are a little small, but still very comfortable. The breakfast (served every day) was very well done, and most day's you can eat in the inner courtyard which is open air.

Have been to New Orleans many times but try to stay at different hotels each time. However, this is a hotel that I will definitely be returning to. The location is the best, close to everything. Everything about the hotel was amazing from the service, the breakfast, the cleanliness, etc. Haykel Mohammed was very friendly and knowledgeable.

You can't have a better location in New Orleans than the Hotel Mazarin! You are just steps away from all the fun. More importantly though, the staff, rooms and facilities were just as amazing. Again, conveniently located to many shops, bars and restaurants. A wonderful stay all around!

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
