This place absolutely exceeded my expectations and was a fantastic dive experience. Let's be clear about accomodations: all I expected was A/C, a bathroom and cleanliness. If I want fine linnens and champagne (I don't) I'll go elsewhere. If I want a genuine Panama dive experience, I'll be back! Jimmy was a songwriter and performer in another life and it...

Going to Jimmy's is definitely an adventure. His place is remote and very rough around the edges as someone mentioned so know that in advance. This is not a luxury resort, but Jimmy, Lettie, Jorge and the girls will take great care of you. We went with a group of friends and had a wonderful time. I don't think this...

Just came back from a week at Caribbean Jimmys. The only thing that was needed were comfortable chairs, and beach lounger chairs. The staff was great! Like one big family! Jimmy is quite the character! Everyone was truly helpful, and if it was possible, they'd do anything for you. I literally entrusted my life to Jorge, the resort divemaster. He's...

I can understand both the positive and negative reviews this place has generated. I stayed here for three nights and will give you as many facts (as opposed to opinions) about this place so you can decide for yourself if it is a place for you. Jimmy (a good old boy and former country singer and rocker from Alabama) is...

My wife and I have traveled extensively in all kinds of circumstances. Caribbean Jimmy's offered us a unique experience. The food was so terrible that we dreaded going into the dining room. Scrambled eggs as dry as sand - omelets done to cardboard consistency - Panamanian breakfast corn cakes that seemed to have been re fried 10 times. Our last...

The weather did not cooperate with us. It was angry all week and Jimmy said it was unusual. We dove it though. One day the seas were 17 ft and he took us out. The viz was not all that great. One dive was aborted due to viz of under 5’. But it was as high as 100 in places...

CJ is a small dive operation. We had a group of 10 divers and stayed the whole week. Jimmy was very acommodating and took real good care of us. Our group had very experienced divers and Jimmy can handle any level. Rooms were basic but clean. Food was delicious and plentiful. This is not!! for your 5 star resort crowd....

That is an actual quote from Jimmy himself. We booked a four day dive package here and had a great time. The accommodations are a little rough and yes! there are free monkeys running amok and yes! the electricity went off and yes! my legs are bitten by the no-see-ums but Jimmy and his wife are genuine and tons of...

I have to say this was one of the worst trips. The "resort" is not what it sounds. It takes almost five minutes on a bumpy, broken driveway just to get there from the main road. The property is under construction. There are turkeys and monkeys roaming free. The bugs are terrible, and the service is not all that. The...

This was a fantastic dive trip. My sister and i are handicapped but still love to dive. The resort accommodated our every need and we did not have to lift a finger or lug our dive gear. We asked for and got the assistance we need to fully enjoy our dives. We booked directly with the resort, They were very...
