Wow. We stayed here for five nights during a hiking trip, and booked a room with half-board. Our stay was truly unforgettable. The hotel is nestled into a tiny valley, and the attractive buildings were covered with overflowing flower boxes. Our room had a beautiful view of the distant mountains, and a small seating balcony that included a hanging wicker... More

We visited during August. Two families comprising four adults and five children. The hotel accommodation, food and service were supreme. In spite of the fact that there were not many children staying at the hotel, they were made to feel extremely welcome by staff and guests alike. We loved it and hope to return in the future. Highly recommended.

We stayed in February 2016 for our family ski holiday. It is a luxurious hotel, with wonderful pool and separate wellness area. We stayed in a Junior Suite and had half board which included cakes in the afternoon. Our suite consisted of 2 bedrooms and a lounge and an entrance hall. It was much bigger than expected. There plenty of... More

We stayed in the Alpin Lodge Das Zillergrund for our first ever ski holiday, myself, my wife and our 6 year old daughter. The hotel made the holiday truly special. The contact from the hotel before we had even arrived had already developed a positive feel. The greeting we received on arrival was lovely, and from that point onwards they... More

We visited early january for a five night ski-break. This hotel was just what the doctor ordered.... Yes, it is situated outside of mayrhofen (around 1.5km), but this adds to the positivity of this charming hotel. It is located in a small valley with stream running by. Personally, i cannot understand why anyone would complain about "noise" coming from an... More

We stayed as a couple for the first week of March for some skiing in the Mayrhofen area. As other's have said it is a little way out of Mayrhofen but it's so peaceful, after a long day on the slopes it was lovely to return and relax in the pool and spa areas. If you blush easily though be... More

We spent a long weekend skiing here in January. This is a lovely hotel in a very quiet setting. We booked a superior suite which was huge, had two terraces and an infa red sauna. The hotel is spotless and food is excellent. Dinner every night was really excellent with plenty of choice. The hotel is a distance from the... More

The hotel itself is located some 3.5km from Mayrhofen. Beware, this hotel is completely isolated from any kind of civilization. It is placed in the bottom of two hills next to a very large creak. Yet, there is a ski bus from the hotel that will lead you to Mayrhofen's Penkenbahn and Ahorn, The first bus will take you from... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on January 2016 with friends. This hotel is an Austrian traditional family run hotel with a close care of the family Pfister’s members and staff, who gave us a very welcome feeling throughout our stay and made us feel as their personal gusts.
