Garten theresia hotel is a very warm and welcoming family-run hotel. We stayed with them for a week over New Years and we have made some special memories. The all inclusive option makes everything so easy and hassle free. The pool (indoor and outdoor), jacuzzi, And children’s entertainment are all great! Ski rentals shop is conveniently located just across the road. It’s also possible to ski pretty much till the hotel which makes it very convenient. However, when leaving in the morning, you must jump on a bus to get to the gondola, but it’s very easy. We had all our meals inclusive and the food was very creative and different every day, with afternoon snack time too! The only little change I would like to see is a little more variety for vegetarians for breakfast. The hotel is located about a 15 mins walk to the village, which is completely doable. We travelled with two young children and it was definitely a wonderful experience! The family also organises daily activities for guests too such as a ski day, or a snow walk, etc. We went on the ski day with the son and I couldn’t recommend it more! New Year’s Eve has a special live band along with the gala dinner and midnight champagne and fireworks! Super stay, highly recommended!

We have been going to Theresia nearly every February since our daughter was 2 years old (she’s now 14). It’s such a wonderful hotel. The staff are so helpful and we begin to relax and enjoy being “home” the moment we step through the door. Can’t recommend it enough.

We have stayed at the Theresia many times over many years - both Summer and Winter and have always enjoyed the very relaxing atmosphere of the hotel - made so by the whole Brettermeier family and their always smiling staff who all do their best to make your holiday a’real holiday’. The relaxing begins in the comfortable lounge with its huge leather sofas and two open log fires, and the newly revamped dining room with its new seating, lighting and wooden floor. It continues when you return from skiing (or hiking/cycling in the Summer) to the spacious new ski/boot rooms with individual lockers, the apres-ski cake, ice cream and soup buffet, a sauna, swim or even the gym! The hotel has a choice of different style rooms, traditional or modern, it is situated a short and very pleasant stroll along the river to the centre of the village. There is a t-bar lift a short walk across the road to get you into the Ski Circus, and pistes to ski directly back. Or you can take the regular bus which stops right outside to take you to the various lifts up or down the valley, ideal for both skiing or hiking, this makes it easy to return if the weather changes suddenly. The hotel gives out the ‘Joker Card’ in the Summer, this includes free use of the local bus and all six gondolas which will be open this coming Summer, to make it easy to get to the top of the various different areas. The card also includes many other attractions. We usually spend three weeks here in the Winter and maybe a couple in the Summer. We enjoyed a wonderful week this January, but we should be there again next week - unfortunately this terrible Coronavirus has closed most ski resorts in Austria, but we will definitely return as soon as possible!

We were looked after from the moment we arrived and instantly made to feel at home by the friendly staff and family that run this lovely hotel. A very warm and friendly atmosphere, the family really make and effort to look after their guests by being present during the evenings and often providing some evening events. The food in the restaurant was exceptional, with flavour combinations that you would not expect to work, however they always did! High quality food, a good variety of options and it's really cool how the hotel promotes the use of organic and local produce! Overall, we had a fantastic time at the hotel and will definitely look to return in the future
