Stayed here for the second time during a coach trip, and must stay we were really impressed with the hotel, which is so well run by Gill and her team. As Alex1706 says, they provide more than adequate cuisine for huge numbers of visitors - and yet stay cheerful and helpful throughout. Well worth a stay if only to enjoy...

Stayed as part of a coach group. There were several other coach loads staying there but you really wouldn't think so. It is fairly large but well laid out in the local style and the groups are absorbed easily. Each party is given a dedicated area for breakfast and evening meal so there is very little overlap. They cater very...

The hotel is comfortable and the staff really friendly and kind. Herbert and Gill who own it are experienced and helpful. The hotel is advertised as four star but I would place the food as three star. Very nice but not top grade. The room was comfortable and spacious and the restaurant and bar area clean and pleasant. The British...

This large hotel is set back a little and uphill from the village, with good views from the room balconies. There were many coach parties in residence while we were there but it never seemed crowded and meals were scheduled so that the dining room was never too full. Evening entertainment was provided on 3-4 nights during the week. Furnishings...

A lovely hotel-clean, good food and service. However, disappointed at the bar and the over priced drinks-alcoholic and non-alcoholic! The service at the bar was very helpful! Many people on the tour expressed their concerns about this matter. Otherwise a very comfortable stay.
