Alte Post is quaint, with friendly staff, and has an excellent wellness section including jacuzzi, sauna etc, and a kitchen that takes pride in a 6-course evening menu. Alte Post is excellently situated for the lifts but even so the ski hire shop next to the Galzig lift has cheap lockers so you can collect your skis and then head...

A very good traditional Austrian hotel, which is exceptionally well located about 3 to 5 minutes walk from the main three lifts. As you arrive, (and throughout) all the reception staff were helpful and friendly. This was the same with all the staff throughout the hotel. Meals were very good to excellent with meat courses being cooked to perfection. Our...

Located at the bottom of the hill where the citadel is, this restaurant is a very nice place to enjoy a very good meal. The staff is very friendly and the offer of the place is a very nice selection of courses from traditional plates like sarmale to vege options.

The Alte Poste was an authentic Austrian Hotel that had been updated with modern conveniences. The staff could not have been more accomadating and pleasant to make your reservations, suggest restaurants, provide information about skiing tips. We had the breakfast included which was nice before skiing, they also have an afternoon, apres ski, buffet in the bar that is included....

A very nice hotel. All the amenities you need in a ski hotel. One thing that really was distinctive was how friendly & helpful all the staff were. Delicious breakfast and a really good way to stock up on calories before a days skiing. The SPA is amazing: wonderful facilities with pool, jacuzzi, sauna, two different steam rooms, etc, friendly...

We stayed at Alte Post Hotel in the middle of February and I would strongly recommend it to anyone who wants to have a quality service and live close to the lifts. We stayed there with our teenage daughter and the room was big enough and comfortable enough to accommodate us. The fact that toilet and bathroom were separated was...

We stayed in the hotel for skiing as a large group and had half board so breakfast and evening meal was included. The food and service in the restaurant was excellent. The rooms were very comfortable with very large bathrooms which had excellent large shower. Hotel was faultless apart from one barman in hotel bar. Was very rude and quite...

I have a hard time believing this hotel is not top 5 in St. Anton. Location is absolutely perfect, service is 5 star, food options great, spa is a gem, and all of the little things are taken care of (e.g., heated ski room, ski passes at front desk, ski rental one minute away, etc.)

We arrived after 7 hours of travelling And as we tried to check in we were told to go to the bar for a drink, which were not on the house. 15 minutes later the keys came and The luggage was sent to the room. The room was very clean and had everything you would expect from a 4star hotel....
