Situated in a quiet and sunny location only 500 meters from the village centre of Sankt Anton am Arlberg, Alkira offers accommodation with panoramic mountain views. It is a short 5 minute walk to the Galzigbahn Cable Car and a complimentary village bus stops 10 meters above the house. Alkira offers spacious rooms and apartments all furnished with warm wood and large bathrooms with a shower or a bathtub. All rooms and apartments are fitted with cable TV, free Wi-Fi access, safe, hairdrier and sitting area. All rooms and apartments have stunning mountain views and most have a balcony as well. A garden with a sunbathing terrace is surrounding Alkira and the wellness area includes a sauna, steam bath and fitness equipment. A freshly prepared breakfast show casing local produce is served daily. Make use of the complimentary ski storage adjacent to the cable car station or alternatively you can store your equipment in house. Free private parking of one car per room or apartment is provided at Alkira when requested at time of booking. Cross country skiing, hiking and mountain biking trails start 500 meters away. The closest restaurant is 50 meters away and a supermarket is 900m from the house. Perfect room to stay for 4 of us overnight in Cooma. Has all the amenities you need and very warm heaters. Christopher greeted us following our train journey from Innsbruck with a warm welcome. With our arrival he not only sorted out our room, but also our ski pass and also gave us directions to the various places about St Anton; together with suggestions of restaurants for the evenings dinner. The room was not only spacious, but also well appointed with a wonderful view of the Rendl slopes. Breakfast was delightful and as both Barbara and Christopher were only to will to help out.

We arrived for skiing, and both Christopher and Barbara greeted us welcome with a lot of tips of how to enjoy St. Anton on a best possible way. Even when some friends of us got trouble with their booking at another hotel, they arranged extra beds late at the night to help us out. During the whole stay, they were helpful to us, and we really enjoyed the stay.

This is my 3rd week at Alkira and once again had a brilliant stay. Stayed in the loft room for the first time which was great. Barbara and Christopher were perfect hosts once again, serving a hearty breakfast and always helpful. I’ll be back.

Great view from the clean, warm and cosy room. Barbara and Christopher were welcoming hosts. Modern bathroom but a cabin style room, a nice combination. Would stay here again if I come back to the Arlberg region..
