We have been skiing in St. Anton probably close to 8 times over the last few years, and we continue to return to the Hotel Arlberg because their service is so good, the location is great (close to the center of town but quiet, and...More
Very friendly and helpful staff, for whom nothing was too much trouble; made to feel very welcome.
Large, divided family room was ideal for us with 2 young children.
Traditional restaurant with excellent food - both breakfast and lovely 6-course dinner.
Enjoyed pool and spa...More
I stayed here for a week in March 2018. It marked my fifth or six trip to St Anton; this was my first stay at the Hotel Arlberg; I wouldn’t stay at the hotel again.

Chose Hotel Arlberg in St Anton for Easter ski trip & weren't disappointed. Hotel room was very spacious, clean with view over slopes. Staff were all friendly & efficient without being over-bearing. Food was superb: good choice & all well-cooked & presented without being ostentatious....More
Stayed as a group of 9. Despite arriving at 8.30pm we were made to feel welcome and surprised at the quality and choice for the evening meal. Much better than the plate of charcuterie when we have turned up late in other resorts. This set...More

I've only visited St Anton in summer, i.e. not to ski. However I am a skier too, so I took note of the pistes/lift systems and there is definitely a regular ski bus (free with the lift pass) that goes round the village, calling at the lift stations. The same bus was running in the summer and there's a stop right outside the Hotel Arlberg. I'm not sure what time the last ski buses run from the lifts though, so I suggest you to ask the tourist office. They speak excellent English and respond quickly to email queries.
There are also ski lockers where you can leave skis/boots near the Galzig.
