Staff were helpful, facilities for skiing were sufficient and food were good quality. Staff were approachable and overall good value for money. Good location for ski lift which was within walking distance.

Charming hotel in a great location just a few minute walk into Oldtown. The public areas are very well appointed with a nice modern flair. The breakfast buffet was slightly above average and dinner was actually better than I was expecting. The pool area with outdoor whirlpool was a great touch with a great view. Steam room and sauna was...

Came in here with my wife for a ski week. Overall nice. Everybody greets you, nice smiley eye contact. Well organised, nothing to complain. Aaand when you get back to your room after a torturing ski day (in a positive way) and see such a fine bed arrangement, involving your own pijamas, well, nothing more to say. Thumbs up!

I travel Europe and hike yearly staying in alpen hotels. This was the saddest and most uncared about that I have ever felt at a hotel for 9 days! Asking for tap water to go with the wine I bought with a meal, seemed to be too much. You have to buy a jug(even if not needed). This felt awkward and I bought several...

Never again. Terrible service - no hospitality at all. For example: the waiter never wishes you a good meal, never asks how the meal was, and way too often there were dirty dishes on the table when the next dish arrived. Questions about cleanliness... See pictures (A lot of dogs in the hotel, nothing against dogs, just so you know)

We've enjoyed 7 days half-board in this family run hotel in Solden. The hotel is located quite near to Gaislachkogl cable car, although if you're a beginner skier the Giggijoch cable car and slopes would be more suitable (these are also very accessible via the Solden ski buses, going every 10 minutes, which you can use for free based on...

Our second visit to Sölden, our second weeks stay in the Grauer Bär. 5 star food at 4 star price with very efficient and friendly service, not "posh" but "well dressed friendly". Not the place to stay all inclusive if you're planning on loosing a few kilos. On both visits or triple rooms have been large with an area the...

A modern, quiet, spotless hotel fitted out to a very high standard. Staff are friendly and helpful and it feels like a family-run hotel with good attention to detail. Meals were to a high standard (stayed half board), Free wellness centre is an added bonus. Location is 200 metres from the lift systems. Having compared a number of hotels in...

“I would always choose a high room, as you avoid noise from above. If you want a balcony you need to know you will overlook the road. That said, there was very little noise.”

“If you want balcony room with a view book direct with the hotel, however the rooms at the rear are quieter.”
