We had a great stay at Linserhof appartment. Spacious, perfectly clean, with well equipped kitchen and a friendly host. Situated close to ski lifts, a supermarket and restaurants. Enjoyed a lovely surprise from the Easter bunny, too. 😀 Thank you for a perfect stay!

In the middle of Sölden and few 100 meters from skilift. Cannot be better and Family Linser and Petra are so kind and give us excellent service when we arrive and leave.
The appartments are fully equipped and the facillities are excellent. Skiroom in the basement with heat to the ski boots.

Everything was very tidy and the towels were changed midweek and there was enough toilet paper, dish washer detergent, soap etc, etc (all the things you forget from home). Apartment is opposite the ski shuttle, a free mini train which brings you up the maintain to ski level.

Pros:
Clean and spacious apartment with three fully equipped bedrooms
Decent soundproof
Great location (ski lift is 200 meters away)

Cons:
Absence of heater for drying clothes and towels (the apartment is heated by floor heating)
No temperature regulation inside the apartment
No microwave oven

In addition, I would like to leave a feedback about the owner of the apartment. Unfortunately, she left a negative impression on me and my group. But firstly I would like to leave a comment about our group. We traveled as 3 couples and it is our third trip in the Alps for skiing. Every trip we booked by Booking.com and have never received nor given any negative feedback about our stay. Our routine is quite simple: we get up at 7am, go skiing until 4pm, take a rest until 10pm and go to sleep at noon latest.
At first, this trip was going great. During the check-in the owner was very cheerful and hospitable. She welcomed us, showed us the apartment and answered all of our questions.
However, on the second day we got the first sign that something would go wrong. We found out that the owner had visited our apartment without our consent while we were skiing outside. It was despite the fact that during the check-in she assured us that our apartment would be visited only once in the middle of our stay for cleaning. When we asked her about the reason for a visit, she said that it was necessary to open the windows for air conditioning. This situation was quite surprising for us, since other owners of apartments in the Alps had not visited our apartments at all during the stays.
Moreover, the hostess followed us at the ski room every morning starting from the third day. The reason for that was to warn us about too much noise that we made during our stay (according to the agreement, the owner can require the eviction of the apartment without any compensation in case of a noise in the evening). Funny thing is that the source of the noise was our neighbors! Since we did not want to disturb anyone, after the first warning we tried to spent as much time outside of the apartment as possible. Nonetheless, we received two more warnings anyway =). Later, the hostess explained that when she made a warning to our neighbors they shifted the blame on our group. It was not until the end of the stay that she agreed that these warnings to our group were unreasonable all along.
Finally, the check-out was more like an interrogation. Before the check-out, we notified the hostess in advance that we would like to leave at 9am since our bus departed at 09:10 (according to the agreement, the check-out is at 08:30 latest). Usually, it was not a problem for the owners to postpone a check-out for us by half an hour... bur not in that case! After the long discussion with the hostess and presentation of the bus tickets to her we made a compromise and agreed to check-out at 08:45. The next day we were ready to check-out at that time; however, the hostess insisted that in order to start the check-out we should first put all our luggage on the first floor in front of her apartment. When we finished that activity we came back to her, but she had already started to clean another apartment. Since our bus left in 15 minutes, we kindly asked her to proceed with our check-out... On which she replied: “I’ve already given you the opportunity to check-out on time!”. We decided not to argue and just waited outside praying for the delay of our bus. Nevertheless, she tempered justice with mercy and decided to proceed with our check-out. We did not break anything during our stay, cleaned the apartment as much as we could, made the beds, put dirty dishes from the breakfast in the dishwasher and took out the trash. Well, we forgot to take out one of four trash bins... The hostess was not happy to find that out, so she just threw it at us without any word.
The inspection continued. She checked the fridge, the dishwasher, the TV, every bedroom, every locker, every corner and even the balcony (what can be broken at a balcony?). But the cream of the crop was the return of a damage deposit (250€). After the inspection, the hostess seemed disappointed about the condition of the apartment. I guess that the reason for that is simple. In contrast to her expectations, it was difficult to find any excuse not to return the damage deposit to us. Therefore, she took the money, looked into my eyes and asked: “Have you really not broken anything?”. “Yes” - I answered. She was hesitating for a moment, yet finally she decided to give the damage deposit back.
All in all, I can recommend this apartment only to those travelers who do not mind inhospitable and despotic owners.

Response from Linserhof, Inhaber at Linserhof Ferienappartements Soelden
Responded 13 Feb 2019
Starting with the arrival day your friend came daily to tell me that its cold like in a fridge especially in his room! - So, we went there and checked the temperature. Moreover, we informed you that we will check the temperature several times to be sure everything is working well! - (for this it is necessary to go into the apartment, - if you know another possibility to check the temperature of the room, - please let me know). We maybe should mention that the temperature of the room was 24 degree Celsius :-) from the first day on! - Proved by the measurements with a digital thermometer! The condensed water ran down the windows inside! - I asked you to open them a little for us, you didn't. After your departure we recognized even mould in the rooms which made a special disinfecting cleaning necessary! The only time when you opened a window was after 10 o'clock in the night to make some races and noise on our balcony! Really not very nice of you that you write in your text that your neighbours (also guests of booking.com) have been loud! - This was in fact not the case! - Your group had loud music, and made noise, smashed the doors etc. until 2 - 3 o'clock in the night. Because of you we were not able to grant a relaxing stay to the rest of our guests. I did not follow you in the ski room every day, this is my house, I have to do my work to wash, to clean etc. The room with the washing machine is directly near the ski room so why should I hide myself if I do the washing, cleaning etc. . So it should be no surprise that you could meet me there! From the first day on you or one of your friends knocked daily on my door to book aqua dome, to print out flight tickets, bus plans, for some additional information, to complain about room temperature, to complain about missing heater for drying clothes etc. Why did you do that if you didn't want to have contact?! Every of the information’s you requested from me you could easily find in the internet. Also tickets could be bought there. Yes, we had to inform you that you had accepted the house rules, but you absolutely did not stick to the rules! This was really disturbing for all other guests. And we really find it very impolite of you that you are blaming the others. You tried to spend as much time outside of the apartment?? This is also a very funny point because even on your departure day you insisted on staying longer in the apartment as it was written in the contract. You never asked in a friendly way if it would be possible. You made the same review on booking.com you even blamed other guests to be too loud, that is not the truth! Last but not least, you should maybe read the descriptions of a guesthouse, there it was indicated that the kitchen has no microwave... Funny that you criticise that! The fact that you try to harm us with various bad ratings on different platforms is enough of a sign for your character. Everyone is invited to read your reviews on the other platforms! But we don't mind the rest of our reviews are able to show who is telling the truth! We would also not recommend you as guests to other guesthouses, hotels etc.!

This is a fantastic place to stay.

Location: The accommodation has a great location. It is just a few metres from the nearest lift to the Innerwald ski area which connects to the whole resort. The accommodation is located very close to the nearest ski rental office, this is a very short walk. The best bars and clubs are about a 10 min walk.

The Apartments: These are finished to a very high standard. There is a high attention to detail with the rooms very clean and comfortable. All rooms have under floor heating. The apartments are quite and there is no traffic sound. The Wifi is good.

The Ski Storage:
The Owners have provided a very good ski storage and boot drying area. The boots are heated over night and the room is secure. this is an added bonus as you do not have to drop the skis back to rental company every night. This area was also cleaned daily and was always in good condition.

The Hosts:
The hosts are fantastic. The family Linser really care for their guests. Before the trip i had some questions and Petra was very happy to answer. During our visit Petra followed up on a question we had about out transfer driver. Also, it was a birthday of a guest in our group and in the PM there was a bottle of wine and birthday card on the kitchen table. this was a very special touch. out group was highly impressed. The family were happy to help at all times.

This is a very good place to stay and i recommend these apartments. we plan on returning.

The Linser family is highly recommended as hosts. Always ready to help and with the best tips for the week's holiday when you greet them. A really great holiday apartment, right in the middle of town but still incredibly quiet.
