A lovely hotel set on the outskirts of Solden. I was concerned when I booked the holiday that the location would be inconvenient for skiing but happily it was not a problem. A frequent free bus stopped almost right outside hotel so within minutes we were on the first lift of the day. The hotel was very nice, clean and... More

Viktoria that owns the hotel, is so lovely and she can't do enough to help you. The breakfast is wonderful and caterers for everyone's tastes. The hotel is very clean. The standard rooms are a little dated in decor, but still very spacious. The Superior rooms are very spacious also, but have a more modern decor. Do not be put... More

Booked this hotel based on location, and value for money for a mixed group, with differing budgets. It was a great find, and from arrival Viktoria the owner could not of been more helpful, nothing was to much trouble, from arranging skiing, booking dinner, and arranging shuttle buses. The hotel is extremely clean throughout, breakfast was great, I even got... More

Location - Service +/- Price +/- Comfort + Clean ++ Nice big rooms. Big bathroom and really clean. You can buy your ski pass in the hotel. Sauna is oke. There is a free shuttle. Breakfast is too expensive (€12 per person each day), the supermarket is near by.

We spent 7 days in 'Viktoria Solden' and that time was amazing! Nice interior, rich breakfast, 5 min walking to skibus and mountain view. After Ski we relaxed in spa. Every question answered with pleasure and at the end hotel owner Viktoria gave us little presents - that was unusual and very hospitable. We recommend this hotel to young couples... More

We are 6 friends from Norway travelling to the Austrian alps every winter. Just arrived back home after a wonderful week in Sølden. Garni Victoria was a positive surprise! The hotel has spacious rooms, comfortable beds and a friendly staff. 2 minutes walk to the free of charge ski-bus. 5 minutes walk to a large supermarket. 10 minutes walk to... More

We have just returned from a fabulous two week holiday staying in the Hotel Garni Viktoria. I was the only non skier in the group so had been looking to see what was available for me as my partner was there to ski with friends. The owner Viktoria, who was there to greet us on arrival was very helpful from... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at hotel Viktoria and were made to feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble. “Recommend double room premium for friends. The beds can be split and one can be moved to the sitting area. Almost like 2 rooms”
 of 5 bubbles thierrybA8435PS, 20 Feb 2016 | Read review
“We had a superior room that had a separate seating area, which worked well for us as we used this space a lot. The balconies are overlooked but this doesn't prevent you sitting and relaxing there if you wish. The rooms were cleaned and fresh towels every day. As we had taken a small kettle to make hot drinks they placed tea towels in the room for us. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. As this hotel is on the edge of the town there is a free bus service for guests. They run every 10 minutes so there is no problem getting into the town centre. The beauty of the bus service means you can travel to any area in the valley, so Obergurgl was another ski area for the group to enjoy. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from that cater for all. The Ice Restaraunt is a must to visit, the only gripe is as a non skier I was not able to purchase a non ski pass as in other ski resorts and had to pay every day to go up to the restaraunt. I have no objection paying but when it was 28 Euro just for one up/down I felt this was excessive. I have to say that is my only gripe and it did not prevent us having a wonderful holiday staying in the Hotel Garni Viktoria and Solden.”
