Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This was our first time in Bosnia, we were both on our Honey Moon and in a pilgrimage! It was lovely, the personal was so kind and attentive. Our room was cozy, warm! It is pretty centric, in 6 minutes you are in the church :) the price was good and the food was good too!

This was my first trip in this lovely place. Hotel was excellent,in centre of Medjugorje, receptionist welcomed us very friendly, with smile. She was very helpful, we felt like we were many times before in this hotel. Room was great, comfortable ,tv,fridge, balcony. Breakfast was really good: croissants, omelettes, ham, cheese, joghurts, cornflakes, marmelades, fresh fruits and amazing latte. For sure we will recommend this hotel to all our friends.

First time in Medjugorje, from the transport to the hotel and back to Dubrovnik (organised by Hotel Dina) it was an amazing experience, Would defiantly recommend Hotel Dina and Medjugorje to anyone. Friendly staff, breakfast and dinner was great. Because it's a family run hotel i think you are looked after better.

After spending Christmas in Medjugorje we decided to see it in summer days. We choosed hotel Dina again and we were happy as always. Air conditioned ,very clean rooms, silence in the night, amazing food (from breakfast to dinner), and very friendly staff is really what make this hotel amazing. We had person with special needs with us and his room was equiped for disabled people and that made our friend's trip really comfortable.

The deal breaker was not having hot water. After an entire day out during winter, all I wanted was a hot shower. I tried turning the hot water in the shower but only got cold water. I tried to get the hot water running in the sink but again I only got cold water. As I tried to get the shower running, the central heating went off. It was 7.30p/8pm and I tried calling reception to get it sorted but there was no staff member around. Went down to reception and no one was there. I got in bed freezing and fully dressed. The following morning I complained at the reception and the lady told me it was probably my fault that I was turning the taps the wrong way... she said that sometimes the hot water came out when you turned the taps towards where the tap was marked as cold water (?!). So basically she blamed me for their short comings. I was going out at that moment and told them that I expected to be able to have a hot shower on my return. When I came back the lady at reception did acknowledge that the hot water system had broken down and gave me keys to another room to have a hot shower. That room was dated, with a shower handset (that was also the shower head) at the hips level and no hair dryer. So I had to have a shower on a different floor and go back to my room to dry my hair. That same morning when I checked out, I asked to be partially reimbursed but they said they didn't have 10 euros to give me. This despite the fact I had paid in cash the day before. There is something very wrong about service providers not delivering what we pay for and still expecting to receive the full payment. In addition to not having hot water, the radiator in the bathroom was not working and it was freezing there. Also, the radiator had been installed behind the bathroom door, only allowing the door to open 50 degrees or so, forcing you to squeeze into the bathroom. Other things I didn't like were that the single room literally had a small single bed which was quite hard. It didn't have a mini fridge or an electric kettle to make yourself a warm tea or similar. Overall, I can't recommend this hotel and I wouldn't stay again.

I was in this hotel several times and every time they improve something. This year I have found TV and mini bar in the room. Not all rooms have mini bar so I would recommend room 102. Room with the balcony, TV,mini bar, beautiful and spacious bathroom. everything is very clean. Wi -fi is available in all hotel. Staff is really friendly, the girls on the receptions are very helpful. I have asked for another pillow and it was in my room for like, 2 minutes. They really are well organised , educated and friendly. The restaurant in the hotel is very good so I would recommend to you to eat there also. They also have lovely small souvenir shop with beautiful souvenirs and you get discount there. This hotel really feels like home.
