The Sea village resort is a one of a kind hotel. It includes a great scene of the mountains. Personally, I recommend the second or third floor, the first floor has cats outside of the patio. The Sea Village Resort is also near to major shopping outlets, one called Kin's land and the other called Queen's land.

Ronald gave a terrific Island orientation. We went to King Kamahamaha Hotel as he suggested and found the lobby to be a great Hawaiian Museum. We went to the street market and had the produce lady select some very tasty (not Haas) Avocados and papaya's. He also was spot on about the great snorkel spots and volcano sites. His orientation...

We are VI owners and are glad to see the upgrades made to units since our last visit in 2014. Furniture and cabinetry have been updated, in room safe and keyless entry system . The unit was clean and in good repair. All the staff we encountered have been helpful and friendly. BBQ equipment is availble from the office. We...

Built in the 1970's Sea Village is beginning to show her age. Condo's can be newly remodeled but the core structure remains the same. Pool area is pleasant with enough seating for most folks on most days. Grill area is great with 4 new gas grills always available. Lighted courtyard at night is very comfortable and secure. Sea Village has...

No Air Conditioning, dirty, my room had a tree blocking the view; wireless network didn't work, The only TV was in the living area. Sea Village Resort closes at 6 pm, with a phone to pick up your key. There was no way of talking to someone about the unsatisfactory room conditions after 6 pm. There was a big spot...

I understand your frustration with the air conditioning and a tree blocking part of the view. We have spoken to maintenance and asked to trim the tree back to provide a better view. I do see you posted a picture of the high powered fan that we have in the living room. We find that it really gets the air...

Heads Up--The biggest issue was there was maintenance on the outside of Building 4 (which this condo is located in.) I believe it started October 12 and I don't know how long it will continue. The construction is from 8-5 and when we were there, entailed workers with skill saws, crowbars, etc. removing siding. There was no "quiet time" during...

We had a fantastic week in Kona and the Sea Village Resort exceeded our expectations. We were visiting the Big Island for the first time. The oceanfront location is hard to beat. We watched dolphins, cruise ships, and beautiful sunset from our patio. The White Magic Sands beach and the Kahuluu Beach are five-min drive and we swam with big...

A very enjoyable week. great location and very relaxing. IF you are very limber and can walk over tricky lava rocks, you could even snorkel right there. IF you are strong and can pull yourself out of the water and mount the lava rocks you will enjoy the snorkeling. good coffee joint right in the parking lot. YOu definitely need...

my wife and I had a condo on the third floor overlooking the ocean and could watch the sun set each night. We rented through VRBO and Knutson and Associates. The location and the view were great. We could watch the swimmers training for the Ironman race and turtles swimming around the rock area in front of the condo. Other...

My wife and I had a condo facing the water on the 3rd floor. We overlooked the pool and saw Dolphins playing in the ocean from our deck. It's quiet, clean, and very close to everything Kona. Spectacular experience.
