Due to the current on going Covid situation we were happy to get away any where! We booked this as a last minute holiday via Jet2 (who I would say were brilliant from start to finish). The hotel itself is in the area of Split, in small town called Vodice. If you are wanting to visit Split be aware it is 1hr 30mins away from Vodice, but Vodice itself has loads to do and see so no need to worry! I would also say Vodice is really decently priced compare to Dubrovnik for example, meals for two would often cost around £60 for two drinks, starter and main course!

The hotel itself is lovely, the the decor of the rooms is a tiny be outdated, it has nice rooms, which have views of the sea. We only had the breakfast option in our booking, and it did not disappoint! We were disappointed to find out that the A la Carte restaurant was not running at the moment as we would have loved to try it based on the pictures we saw of the food! The hotel has a pool as well as sun loungers and easy access to the bathing platforms to the sea. I recommend taking swim shows as the access to the sea itself is a bit rocky! The pool bar itself is decently priced, not crazy prices you expect for a hotel bar! (Recommend the Mai Tais!) I would also recommend on your way down to breakfast you should put a towel down on the sun beds in order to get your spot!

Overall it was a lovely stay here!

This hotel complex is in an attractive location on the seafront and only a five minute walk into the pretty town of Vodice. The bar and pool areas are pleasing to the eye. However, the two residential blocks give off a university campus student accommodation vibe. This student vibe is strengthened on entering the building and then your room. It's rather small and Spartan to say the least with tired carpeting (why carpet?). The balcony is actually rather spacious with a sea view and the balcony door can also be adapted as a window to allow fresh air in (which is nice in September). The bathroom facilities are fine although you have to go on a hunt for the cleaner's trolley to get any body gels or shampoo. Storage was ok and wifi good. There is a rather old fashioned safe but no coffee/tea making facilities. The bed was a bit firm but ok and it was very quiet at night allowing for a decent sleep. The restaurant at night continues the student accommodation feel with basic furnishings and fluorescent tube lighting although that feel is softened when they open the sea facing doors on to the bar patio. Breakfast was very good with nothing being allowed to run out and there are two coffee vendor machines for espresso and cappuccinos. The evening buffet meal choices were good with the open kitchen allowing the chefs to refill or top up food over the counter. Fish choices were particularly good. The wines were good but you need to ask for a large glass or you end up with about two sips worth. Vodice is obviously a thriving tourist town with loads of restaurants and gift shops, and being September it had, for us, a bit of an end of season feel about it The promenade from the town runs along the sea front to the hotel and on past other hotels and apartments. It appears that a third block is being constructed alongside the existing blocks. Perhaps this new accommodation will be less sparse and a little more modern than its neighbours.

Stayed for 11 nights and twelve days really enjoyable stay bar staff and kitchen staff were lovely and friendly, rooms were nice and comfortable with the much needed air conditioning and great shower. Rooms and towels cleaned daily. Only downside was we had an evening flight and although we were allowed to leave our luggage at reception there were no facilities to shower and change for our flight home although we had asked if we could pay and keep our rooms until early evening but just told no. Receptionist on in the afternoon of our departure was very rude as we were sitting in the reception area due to the high temperatures which she was not happy with and said we should wait outside I did try to explain that we had made a request to keep one of our rooms and she was rude and put a total damper on our holiday there is no need for rudeness especially from a receptionist who is facing the guests day in day out. Disappointed.

The hotel is in a good location. Very clean rooms, nice breakfast and beachfront location. Use Uber for taxis, very cheap and lovely places to eat if you turn right out of the gates at the beach. There’s also a little mini market there where you can buy drinks at less than half the price of the hotel fridge.

The reason I marked a star off is because the hotel booked us their transport (which turned out to be a local taxi) so they knew what time we were arriving. I walked to the check in desk and said I’d like to check in and the lady with dark hair said “oh I don’t think you are” no hello / welcome etc. i was a little taken aback. She told me we would have to come back well after 2pm. So we returned and was checked in by a lovely lady. We waited 25 mins to check out also so be mindful of that on your leaving day. Only 1 lady serving but 2 others were in the office behind. We left our suitcases and when we went back for them later on in the day, I went to get our luggage and the lady stopped me and accused me of being the person who had left without paying. Firstly just ask what room I was in and secondly if I had would I have been stupid enough to leave my luggage and go back later???

One another moan is the amount of people who “reserved” sunloungers and then didn’t go on them. The hotel should have a policy for stopping this.

Take a beach towel we couldn’t find anywhere to get one from in the hotel.

Despite the above poor service I would choose to stay here again

The hotel in itself is lovely, it’s always really clean and the bathroom has a great shower too and very good air conditioning in the bedrooms. However at the pool you need to get up really early to get a sun bed near the pool there is tons of other spaces under the trees and on the pebbles but obviously if you book a hotel you would prefer to be at the pool area. It was always so busy and there was lots of children I started wondering why that was a few days in because the rooms are only really for couples and it did say on the website when I booked that it was great for couples. The families come from the Punta hotel behind our one and therefore taking up all the pool area. I love children but when your trying to relax in the pool and they come over and splash it’s very annoying. All the staff in the bar and restaurant are very nice too and it’s like sitting in the bar looking out onto sea. It’s in a great location to everything which is very good too. The breakfast were good but it’s the same thing everyday so by the end of the holiday we were getting a bit bored with the breakfast. Overall thought was a great holiday and hotel - I feel they should stop the other hotel from using their facilities and then it would be a 5 star from me.

We travelled here for a week in September, and after reading the reviews, i nearly changed hotels as they were dreadful, but I'm so glad we didn't. The hotel is very tired inside with some dreadful stains on the corridor carpets, but once inside the rooms, they were kept clean with nice modern bathrooms. Breakfast is served a short walk away with breathtaking views and an excellent choice to cover every taste. I personally loved the pancakes.
The hotel is in an excellent position with a short walk into vodice for evening meals. There is also an excellent bar for drinks and bar snacks.

I have to say this was a wonderful place to visit. The hotel was great, room was nice, pool was good (although cold but extremely clean). Food in the hotel is really good, lots of choice. Doesn’t serve lunch though so we walked into the marina a few times to a local bakery for a snack or got an ice cream.
The local area is amazing & views are stunning. To the left of the hotel there is a marina with lots of restaurant, bars, shops, bakeries and places to book boat trips. On the right is a lovely walk to the next village which was a nice find. If you want to go swimming in the sea then I’d suggest taking shoes as it’s rocky/pebbly.
We went to a few local restaurants and would recommend Restaurant Mediterranean, Restaurant Adria, Tripiruna & Strikoman

We also went on trip to Kris National park water fall & also boat trip to the other National park with a swim in the salt lake. Both fab days out

Can’t wait to go back and explore more, I would certainly recommend visiting here and also staying at this hotel. The staff were lovely and welcoming/friendly too so thank you for a lovely week

Hotel staff outstanding . Hotel standard cleanliness good Food and prep all good standard . Location great . The picturesque pool in the photos is like a London lido in school holidays , families seem to pop in off the walkway and have a swim while a member of staff plays on his phone all day ! Sun bed wars get up for lunch and it’s gone taken over !!! With no spares , Not relaxing . Booked a cab from reception for a dressed up night out and the girls aunt turns up in an old car with wet seats and charges more than a nice cab !!! Feeling stung poor reflection …breakfast time witness people coming in from nowhere filling bags up with rolls and fruit .. Croatia lovely most staff delightful and helpful needs a little fine tuning or marketed as a family with toddler venue .

We spent our one week holiday here with my boyfriend. It was magical. We had parking place for the car. The room was beautiful and absolutly clean. We had a small balcony with sea view. The pool is fantastic. There are sunbeds available in the garden - however they say there is no reservation, half of the hotel goes out in the early morning with towels make it reserved but anyways it is not a big deal. We had half board and I have to confess it was one of the best decision of my life. The food is just PERFECT. There is huge variety, you can choose soup, million version of apetizers, main cours, desserts etc. The restaurant is situated near the sea so it was very romantic and relaxing to have dinner in the end of the day. I highly recommend this place, worth every penny. Dont hesitate, make a reservation and have a perfect holiday. Enjoy!

This hotel is in a great location for shops, bars and restaurants. It does have a car park on site if you wanted to drive (not sure whether parking is free or not though) We went on an excursion to Krka national park and it was absolutely amazing.... the hotel reception staff arranged this for us and it worked out at around £50 per person.
