My friend and I did a cycling trip earlier this month and selected Zlata Hvezda as it had quite favorable rating. I should have been warned, as I made the first call. The guy, obviously the owner, asked me to call his wife. I did and she asked me to call another number? Ok, booking made eventually. Arriving at the... More

We booked directly, rather than through online broker -- thought that would make the owners happier. Calling up the number we found online to find out we should call someone's wife to book. After several attempts we got through and were pointed to yet another number (which we refused to call). Anyways, booked successfully, arrived ... to find out that... More

I travel to this area a few times a year and while it can appear rustic, the restaurant at this hotel is superb. The food is good, the beer is cold and the prices reflect very good value. A family of 4 can easily enjoy a great meal with drinks for less than £20.

We spent the weekend here. The hotel provides nice, clean a comfortable accomodation at reasonable prices. The hotel restaurant offers wide range of food and beverages. We were here with my girlfriend and we both liked it.

A good place for organizing a small meeting or a local business trip, with very helpful and welcoming staff. Free wi-fi. Ten minute's walk from the bus station and the city centre. Spatious and clean rooms; however, bring your own shampoo and hair-dryer.

Clean room with kitchen, basic amenities, but hi quality furniture and bed. Helpful staff all around. Great price for single room, only 700 CZK (cca 35 dollars) per night. Close to historic center. Recommended.

We had a bad luck the very first day of our stay there was a disco held in a hotel so we couldn't sleep until 3:15 am. The toilet was dirty and so the glasses in the bath. During our 4 day stay the room was checked only once by cleaning staff. It's allowed to smoke in the restaurant and... More

We enjoyed staying here as it is in a great location in downtown Vimpark. The beds and linens are a little small, especially if you're over '6'2" tall. Vimperk is a beautiful town of about 8k people near the German border.
