The old Manor house took us back in time to an era of elegance, charm and gracious living. We were welcomed in from the pouring rain by our attentive hostess who immeditely offered us refreshments in a beautiful drawing room full of beautiful period furniture and wall hangings. We were then led up the spiral turret stairs to our beautifully appointed and large bedroom under the eves with views over the lovely gardens both at the back and the front of the manor. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and ever on hand to offer useful advice. The continental breakfasts were simply delicious with home made preserves and baking. A memorable stay at this lovely location. More

Our six horse-power rented Citroen might as well have been a horse-drawn carriage. Driving down a country lane, past the thoroughbred horses grazing in the fields, the manor house leapt into view, as if out of some Gothic romance. Our gracious hostess greeted us at the door and led us up the tower to our rooms, comfortable time warps with modern plumbing. Out the window we caught a flock of geese waddling on the lawn. After we'd gotten settled, she invited us down to the living room to chat over a bottle of fresh cider. This veritable Breton Brigadoon was a bit pricey by our family standard, but well worth every penny of the splurge. Breakfast includes home-made crepes. It's ideally situated to take advantage of the country calm and the nearby spectacular Breton coastline. More
