For the money, this hotel is wonderful. The rooms are in a 17th century building with an authentic feel. We had the large room that has a fully updated bathroom, comfortable bed and plenty of room. I especially liked the hosts. They were kind and welcoming. The hotel is very convenient to the downtown. This was a great value.

We stayed at the calm city of Morlaix for one night en route from Paris to west Finistére. Hotel Saint-Melaine is charming. It was June and not high season yet, so few other guest and very quiet. Nice and clean room. Owners very friendly people and we had a nice chat with them during our breakfast. Great central location so...

Very conveniently located, right next to the viaduct, so easy to find! Ever so French in style and attitude, lovely, such a change from bland always the same. The proprietors speak English and are ever so helpful. Comfy bed, very clean spacious room, very decent en-suite. TV only in French, free WI Fi was superb. Breakfast was OK. Car parking...

We parked on the main street in Morlaix and walked up to this lovely small hotel..The proprietor was so welcoming and the room and bathroom were just immaculate .We availed of the evening meal which was just wonderful after a week of eating chips in other restaurants. Stayed at the Hotel St Semaine as a group of eight cyclists on our way back to Roscoff. Hotel was very well run by the two owners; Catherine was extremely helpful with the booking. Breakfast was delicious (with cheese plate) with plenty for hungry cyclists. We were able to put our bikes in a secure garage overnight. The rooms were...

Simple but exceptionally clean rooms. The staff was extremely friendly providing extra pillows for our son and a very friendly breakfast. Best of all they tried calling multiple places for a taxi to help us transport our luggage to the train station, but when they weren't able to find one were kind enough to meet us there with some of...

Very friendly clean hotel. Felt like more of a bed and breakfast but very lovely stay for a good price :). Bathrooms very nice and bedroom a good size for what you pay for. Breakfast wasn't fantastic but was OK. Lovely owners very nice. Room for bicycles at night this was very convenient for us. Overall very good.

Booked this hotel based on reviews and Trip Advisor rating, and was not disappointed. Owners are friendly, helpful, and hotel is in a great location, very central. We were offered a room overlooking a rear courtyard which offered light and a view of the viaduct, but without street noise - which was most welcome.

Although the entrance is dark and the room basic the high quality of the bathrooms lifts it. The hosts are friendly and efficient. Good breakfast in a pleasant bar. I only wish the restaurant had been open - it looked promising. All in all recommended as an excellent value one night stop en-route to the ferry.
