Overall, pretty nice hotel with some really unintelligent people. I've stayed at a bunch of Marriotts before and this is probably one on the lower end. The only issue we had was with the dry cleaning service. We had a wedding on Friday and when we checked we inquired about

Courtyard with everything a Courtyard has to have plus a great location in the middle of downtown Seattle. Close by the Waterfront with its seafood restaurants and in the middle of the shopping district.

It was an enjoyable stay at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Pioneer Square location. What really made it special was the "old" feel of this somewhat elegant property, and the location/proximity to public transportation, and other sites. The guest room was very comfortable!

I stayed here while visiting Seattle back in March, and since my visit in June of 2016, this hotel is still as good as it was in terms of the room quality and cleanliness, but I'm happy to report the restaurant has DRASTICALLY improved since my last visit!!! The food used to be

Friendly staff (walked in and got a free upgraded room with a view didn’t even ask). Clean And nicely decorated rooms. In heart of city so lots around. Parking is the only issue in seattle and all hotels have a prob with that.

Is there a convenience or drug store nearby?
Yes, as Chuck and Joseph said there is a Rite Aid and 7-11 within walking distance. We did not have need for one but it is nice to know they are close.

What is the best mode of midnight transportation from the airport?
My phone died when I landed so I took a taxi. It was quick and reliable!

No, Unfortunately, we only have valet parking for a fee of $47 per day inclusive of all taxes. We do not have parking stalls at the hotel as we are a historic building. We have to lease the stalls at a local garage. Gerry

Is this hotel close enough to Centurylink Field to walk to/from a concert? Is the area safe? Thanks
We walked it with a young child several times in the day time, no issues but I would be a little hesitant late at night.

Thank you for your question. Both hotels are about equal distance to Pike Place Market and the Waterfront. For your 9 year old there would probably be more to do around the Hyatt Place such as the Space Needle and the Pacific Science Center. There is probably more in the way of nightlife in the Pioneer Square area though. Also, we are within walking distance to the Century Link Field and Safeco Field in case anyone is interested in taking in a baseball or soccer game. Don't know if that helps. Please feel free to contact us directly if we can answer any questions.

"Higher floors are quieter, and corner rooms have awesome views."
"The rooms in the back are really large but do look out over an old dirty alley. If view is not important ask for one these rooms."
"Ask for a corner room! They are huge."
