Clean room with necessary amenities, definitely a plus that dogs are welcome. Copious supply of basic breakfast cold staples. This is not a luxury hotel but the pricing and comfort of the rooms are adequate. Personnel was pleasant and helpful.

I requested an upper floor with extra pillows when I made my reservation about 3 weeks in advance. I was assigned a 1st floor room which turned out to be ok. The folks above me either were careful about stepping lightly or the construction of the rooms doesn't allow for the transfer noise from footsteps. Either way that was very...

Thank you for taking the time to write about your visit to The Grove. I do apologize for not having your requests for pillows and an upstairs room on record when you checked in. I did see that they were in the original reservation but not input into our system. We do always have plenty of extra pillows, blankets and...

I used to live in West Seattle and am back to visit family. This used to be a dumpy place and the new owners have definitely improved it immensely. That's great because it is the only hotel in the area. The only criticism I have is the "minimalism" is a bit much. I've never been in a motel that didn't...

Thank you for submitting a review of your stay at The Grove. You are right. The present inn is not the dumpy, creepy motel of the past. The present owners and management have turned the property around to a clean and comfortable place to stay that is affordable and convenient. I do apologize for only one nightstand. We did not...

The Grove was an excellent place to stay for the game. So close to the stadium, no traffic, easy access. Rooms and eating area were very clean. Food was a perfect continental breakfast. Good hot coffee. Very friendly staff! We will stay again.

Very clean and comfortable place. After staying in San Fransisco and downtown Seattle was very nice to stay at a place that was not totally populated with cars and people. A few nice restaurants and bars are nearby. We choose to walk to a pizza parlor in the rain. Awesome and stopped at Trader Joe's on way back.

Rustic on outside, room immaculate/clean with very comfortable beds. We arrived after delays at two airports and maneuvering driving directions after dark, getting lost at one point. Needless to say, we were happy to reach our destination. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and welcoming. He provided all the information we needed. I thought to myself, normally I...

Have stayed here several times and it is very nice. I love that it is extra clean and the beds are comfortable. Initially was worried about street noise but had no problem, never heard road noise or other occupants. Within walking distance to local pubs and restaurants. Breakfast is ok, I have had better but I also have had a...

The Grove was the first motel on our tour of the US northwest and one of the most expensive. Well, that was due to the fact, that is is close (15 min. if traffic is ok) to downtown Seattle. Our room was very clean but there was a funny smell, probably some kind of cleanser. Also, since we had a...

This is a nicely remodeled old travel inn and the rooms are really small. We probably should have gone for 2 double beds vs the one queen bed, maybe we would have had more room. The bathroom is super small and hard to move around in. The staff was nice and helpful.

The room was clean and comfortable and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The included breakfast was pleasant with many choices and very good coffee. I was able to print my return boarding passes on the lobby computer.
