We stayed at the Fairmont Olympic Seattle for a business/leisure trip in September 2016 for 3 nights. The rooms were clean and spacious. Since this trip was partial business, we did not book the hotel ourselves so cannot speak to the ease of that. Also, most of our interactions were with people related to the company I work for instead...

Alaska airlines lost our luggage I can't praise the staff at the Fairmont Olympic high enough for their help in tracking it down including sending a car to the airport to pick our bags up. This coupled with a room upgrade made for a wonderful stay. Also the friendliness of the staff was outstanding.

We spent New Years Eve weekend with the family in a Deluxe Exec Suite on the 10th floor. Our girls are on the smaller side so the pull out sofa was perfect. Plus bc of the recent reno, or it was not used much, the mattress was quite firm and thick, comfy. Typical Fairmont bathroom, nicely furnished and spacious and...

The Fairmont Olympic Seattle is a beautiful hotel. The pool looked fun but we didn't have time to enjoy it. We ate at Shuckers, which was $$$ but delicious and also ordered room service for breakfast which was good too. We enjoyed walking around the grand ballrooms and lobby decorated with beautiful arched ceilings and carved wood walls. The hotel...

A lovely hotel in a great location! Our room was fit for a queen, or king! Absolutely beautiful, and you couldn't want for anything. Bathroom has a light sensor for when you are headed that way in the night, 2 tv's, espresso maker with several choices plus rea, fridge. Lovely sitting room with couch, barn door closing off bedroom for...

We booked the Fairmont because it is the best hotel in town and known to be luxurious. We wanted a little getaway in town for the new year and we couldn't have picked a better place. I called in on the day of our stay to see if we could get an upgrade from our king bed room to a...

We stayed here for three nights recently and enjoyed the experience in the heart of Seattle. The hotel is located in an excellent location from which to explore the city. The major shopping is only a few blocks walk and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. The service is friendly and meticulous and the rooms are well designed...

My husband and I have a 7-year tradition of booking a couple of nights at nice hotels before Christmas to "talk to Santa" (AKA our excuse to get away from the kids!). We usually look for an amazing place and are willing to splurge. Last year (2015) we saw the reviews that The Fairmont Olympic was under significant remodel so...

I wanted to treat my wife to a romantic getaway for her birthday and we were both pleased at the Fairmont. Hotel is simply lovely, from the reception, to checkout. This lovely hotel has been gutted by a tasteless interior "decorator" who believes decor reached its zenith with 1970s dentist's offices: cheap, white wallpaper, ugly, blue furniture and painting over period details which made (past tense) this hotel stand out as a lovely place to stay. Rooms are cramped, even suites. This is not uncommon in older hotels but we...

We are so sorry to hear that the decor in our renovated rooms was not to your taste. The Guest Rooms floor plans remained the same. We are glad however that you found other aspects of the hotel that you still enjoy and will reconsider looking for a different hotel on your next trip. We thank you for the feedback...
