A charming small hotel in the heart of lovely Marseillan, close to a host of good restaurants. The room with terrace that we had was spacious and very comfortable and the breakfast on the main terrace makes a beautiful start to the day. But the piece de resistance must the well maintained pool. Birgit and Peter are generous hosts full of useful tips on where to eat and visit, and could not have been more welcoming.

This a gem. Hidden in plain sight. Very central location. It is small and friendly. The hosts Birgit and Peter are unbelievable. Bedrooms are large and individually designed. There is a lovely pool. Breakfast is great. There are always interesting people here and you have the opportunity to mix or not as is your wish. Marseillan has a great range of restaurants and your host have all the info on the current scene. Walking around the port is like being on a film set. There are tourists but it’s not spoilt.

Just back from a wonderful 10 night stay in Le Petit Hotel Marseillan. The hotel is great with very charming and attentive hosts, Birgit and Peter, who make you feel relaxed and at home from the moment of your arrival. I had a lovely room on the top floor with a large balcony overlooking the pool. The breakfast are freshly prepared, copious and delicious, served on a lovely veranda. The hotel is in a great position close to the port area and just a few minutes walking distance to any of the host of nearby restaurants in this lovely little town. There is a very nice pool area - ideal for relaxing and sunbathing and the water is nicely warm for a leisurely swim. All just perfect. I can highly recommend Le Petit Hotel and look forward to a return visit soon.

We stayed in the Petit Hotel Marseillan for our wedding in October with our close family. The rooms were excellent big in size beautiful bathrooms and excellent comfy beds. Birgit & Peter were amazing hosts, very helpful and informative, they organised us afternoon tea for the day of our wedding a long with wine from a local vineyard. The pool was lovely and cleaned really for us to use every morning. The breakfast was always ready for us and super tasty. The location is perfect in the centre of town and so close to the harbour & restaurants. It’s is a lovely intimate hotel with hosts that provide a special experience I will definitely be staying here again, we love this place. I and my family will definitely be staying there again. My 92 year old grandmother wants to go to the hotel again.

Birgit and Peter are wonderful hosts, friendly, courteous, helpful and always open to questions, whether it is about special tips in the area or other travel-related information. The hotel is a real gem, located in the heart of a delightful little town with a beautiful harbor and numerous restaurants and wine bars. The place is very tastefully and comfortably furnished, with a full kitchen and spacious rooms, some with a direct exit to the south-facing sun terrace. Even though we were there in December, the atmosphere in the village was lively and you could even have lunch outside in the warm sun at the harbour. We can highly recommend Birgit's and Peter's place and will definitely come back!

Stayed at this beautiful boutique hotel for 5 nights and had the most amazing time! Our room was a large room with en-suite on the top floor perfect for us to spread out. Breakfast every day served on the sunny terrace was delicious. The hotel is in close proximity to the wonderful harbour which is full of lovely restaurants and has such a lovely vibe going on. We spent the afternoons cooling off around the pool back at the hotel which was a great bonus! It was our first visit to Marseillan which we enjoyed tremendously and plan to return ! Birgit and Peter could not have been better hosts, they take care of your every whim nothing was too much trouble for them! Thank you both again for your wonderful hospitality!

The hotel is located near the heart of the port area. Easy walking to restaurants, cafes, and the Noilly Prat vermouth tour and tasting. Step out the front door of the hotel to the amazing Tuesday market. Our hotel room was lovely, quiet, with a beautiful view of the courtyard and pool below. Our hosts were wonderful, gracious and so much fun to party with. Anyone looking for a small, original, intimate hotel with hosts that provide a special experience would love this place. Thanks Birgitte and Peter for the good times! Margie and Brian

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was the most relaxing part of our trip. The rooms are well appointed and the whole building just feels warm and inviting, like your hosts Peter and Birgit. Breakfast was wonderful and some days there were even BBQ dinners. The pool area is fantastic after a day of wandering the lovely countryside. Plenty of restaurants and shops in walking distance and a short drive to wineries, old towns, beaches and when the market comes to town, its right outside your door. Highly recommend and cant wait to return.
