This B and B is located in a large home outside of the center of anchorage. The decor is a bit overdone, but the rooms are clean and very comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to accommodate your needs. The hot breakfast is delicious. There is a guest lounge with TV, refrigerator, microwave and coffee. The view in...

Lovely home, lovely hosts and lovely breakfast. Pictures online really don't do the place justice. The home is warm, comfortable, quiet and inviting. The price is also very reasonable for the comfort and personal touch. So much better than the overpriced generic hotels in downtown Anchorage. Our family of 4 stayed very comfortably in the Woodlands suite. Our kids are...

My boyfriend and I stayed a couple of nights here in May 2014. The inn is a short drive from downtown and an escape from the city bustle. Breakfast was great including: juice, coffee, fruit, waffles one day and an egg dish the next. We never left the table hungry. Cliff pointed us toward Moose's Tooth for great pizza. We...

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions last summer, first when we arrived in Alaska and then on our road trip back from Healy on the way to Homer. Both times were lovely. Cliff and Sheila are wonderful hosts, the house is very unique and beautiful and the beds so comfortable. The couple we went with promptly bought a new...

I thought I'd written a review back in June but can't find it so I thought I would add it again. This was such a fabulous way to enjoy the trip even though I worked the whole time. The glen is such a warm and comfortable place. I met other guests and we hit it off like family. Cliff and...

My friend and I stayed here on July 30, 2013. The owners, Chris and Sheila, are friendly and knowledgeable. The room was comfortable and clean and the beds provided an excellent night's sleep. The location is perfect for relaxing and hiking in the foothills of the nearby state parks. The excellent breakfast was elegantly served on china and linen covered...

When we drove into the driveway to this stately and elegant home, we knew that we would be welcomed by the most-gracious hosts, Chris and Sheila. Every aspect of the home inside and out is immaculately maintained fit for a king and queen. That's the way we felt during our 4 night stay in this charming, large, spotless, bed and...

We spent only one night at this beautifully located B&B but happily would have stayed longer. We were in the 'Highlander' room which offers a lot of space with nice views. It was a perfect finish to a great trip to Alaska. If you are looking for a modern place this may not be the right choice for you as...

I was in Alaska to do a trip with REI and stayed at the lodge at the start and finish. Cliff and Sheila were AMAZING!! From providing directions to local restaurants and sights to accommodating a non standard schedule. The breakfasts were feasts suitable for royalty, served on the finest china! I slept through the night soundly which I seldom...

My husband and I had a wonderful two-night stay here in June, 2013. It was my first time at a B&B and I was not disappointed. They owners were so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious both mornings. The room was comfortable. The location was convenient. We have already recommended Highland Glen Lodge to our family if they ever...
