There is a unique sense of history and charm about this hotel which is really different from your standard hotel offering. It is true that the rooms are a little tired, the carpets stained and dated, the lighting and drapes less than fully functional and the wifi fleeting at best. Even our room safe was broken. But the hotel manager...

This is more of a motel or hostel than a hotel. It is very tired and worn out and is in bad need of renovation. The rate is very high and I was shocked at what we had paid for. The rooms are smelly and the carpet very old and stained. The fridge does not cool. Some of the switches...

Overpriced and unconfortable. Lack of service, If you have suitcase, you would have to drag it up the narrow and steep stsircase. Smelly staircases. Dated rooms. Unconfortable lavatory. No shower stalls nor curtains-can not take a shower without wetting the entire bathroom floor. Stained bath tub, not very welcomming for a bath. Slow service in the restaurant. Mixing up room...

We (ourselves and 2 teenage children) booked 4 nights at L'Abbaye Hotel for the end of our holiday and checked out after just 2. L'Abbaye Hotel is situated in the beautiful old stone walls of a former abbey and yet is largely embellished with modern quirky pieces of art which seem to trying to be trendy. It must be said...

Beautifully renovated old Abbaye . Nice interior courtyard . Very nice and friendly service, room is ok. Bathroom could use a shower instead of a corner bath. Breakfast is a bit poor. We stayed in a junior suite for 2 nights. I would expect that for the price we paid, there would at least be a bed turnover service in...

Beautifully restored historic building with fantastic modern interior design and art. It has a large pool with plenty of sun loungers nestled within the premises of the ancient abbey. The restaurant serves food in its fantastic court yard, you really could not find a more romantic setting for dinner in the area. The location is great to explore the area...

Family wedding here was just perfect. Food first class as you would expect and in magnificent surroundings. Attentive staff but not intrusive at all. Highly recommended. Not sure of the prices as someone else picked up the tab!

Wonderful historic building, Not so keen on the weird modern decor it does not in my opinion flater the feel of this Abbey. The food in the rest aurant was absolutly delicious on the first night, hence the reason we went back on our 2nd night.Unfortulnatly we were unhappy with our main course the "Saltimbocca " was "tough ", so...

We stayed here for one night as we planned to go into St Paul de Vence, which was an easy 10 minute drive (tip though, parking is hard in St Paul de Vence). Our room was quirky modern which contrasted nicely against the old abbey building. My only issue was that the shower over bath without any curtain or partion...

L'Abbaye, as the name suggests, is in a 12th century abbey. The exterior, lounge, restaruant, looby, and espresso areas are well appointed, and are imbued with the feel of the hotel's history. The staff were friendly, and attentive. The rooms are nothing special, but the view into the patio is good. The hotel, unlike any others we found in Southern...
