Mas La Provence is a lovely place to be based to explore the western edge of Provence with easy driving to Avignon, Mont Ventoux, etc. Anne is a very welcoming host, providing excellent advice on where and what to visit, and provides an excellent breakfast. The pool was very welcoming after a hot day exploring. There is an honesty bar and an area to eat your own food. The rooms are simple and functional and very clean. L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is about 5km away.
Anne is a very kind and gracious hostess and her property is lovely. It is approximately 3 acres with a large swimming pool and chairs around the property. The breakfast was good and Anne graciously provided me with soy milk and muesli as well as blueberry soy yogurt. So yummy! We were greeted each morning by Anne and her sweet, friendly dog. She ensured we enjoyed ourselves and asked where we were going for the day and gave us great suggestions for places to explore as well as restaurants in town - even making a reservation for us. The room was large and the bathroom was a good size with a large shower. It was a little dark but that is because of all the trees surrounding the property There was no air conditioning but we were provided with a fan which was very nice. The TV had plenty of channels. The only drawback would be if you don't have a car. This lovely spot is outside the town and would be quite a hike. I would definitely recommend Mas La Provence and Anne.…
Anne & Karl are the most gracious hosts of this wonderful, small B&B. We stayed here, with another couple, for 6 nights. The room is spacious with a private patio. The breakfast is wondeful with juice, coffee, tea, French breads, cheese, yogurt, and fruit. Anne speaks English which is helpful if your French is less than perfect! She will help with restaurant recommendations & your itiniterary when you are trying to see to many things! Gazette, their wonderful dog, helps make you feel at home & miss your dog(s) less. The location could not be better when visiting Provence. We are already talking about making a return trip!!!
Fabulous place to stay - from the comfortable beds to the yummy breakfasts, the warm welcome of the hosts (and the friendly dog), the resort-like feel to the property with the pool and surrounding gardens - it was all great. Having use of a kitchen was a great bonus for easy meal preparation to eat in the gardens. Plenty of comfortable chairs, sun lounges and tables outside. We used 2 rooms - the Petit Luberon which was small in area but with a huge bed, desk and chair, opening doors onto the garden and an air-conditining unit as there weren't any opening windows (except a small one in the bathroom), and the Grand Luberon, which was a much bigger room area wise, but smaller bed (queen size) and opening windows and doors again onto the garden. Each room also has its own patio with table and chairs. No hesitations in highly recommending this place.…
From the welcoming bark of the dog, to the beautiful green of the extensive garden, Mas La Provence is an oasis in Provence. The rooms are neat, well equipped and easy accessible. The breakfasts, served by the pool, set you up for the day and the ability to use a shared kitchen and eating area is an added bonus to the normal B and B offer. Well worth considering for a break and pamper
