The hotel was nice and the employees were very sweet. I felt was mislead with the kitchenette because there were no hot plates, which was a little frustrating but not a huge issue. The hot tub were a nice temperature but were a little gross, unfortunately we found several toe nails floating around with us (and other gross things…) in the tub. If you’re planning on using the hot tub try not to look into the water while you relax. The breakfast was excellent, and was probably the best breakfast service I’ve ever had in a hotel. Overall it was a good experience and was a close drive to many of the attractions we wanted to see.

The sink was overflowing with water and it was difficult tó flush the toilet. Small amount of food considering the price. The staff was very nice but did nót have the best knowledge of how go make drinks or coffee. We loved watching Eurovision at the hotel. It was great. Thanks staff.

Dinner was excellent! Bar service professional. Tables of plenty at breakfast! The bed was of a superior type! Wi-Fi worked well. TV worked, but channels came in slowly. Window of opportunity for quicker response when selecting a new channel. The choice and number of channels should be improved.

We stayed here for one night at the end of April 2022 - the staff were wonderful and so friendly. The room that we have booked have not been vacated. As soon as the staff realised, they found us a replacement upgraded room. The room was spotless, modern and very nice. Booking a table last minute for the Bistro was not a problem (it was very busy). They have saunas and bath tubs just outside the restaurant in the patio which we enjoyed too. We slept very well. The breakfast, although very busy, was delicious, plentiful and well organised. I can't wait to book another stay with them!

Wasn't expecting to be sleeping in a moving container, but that was what it felt like. At least 2 wings of this hotel had rooms that had to be accessed from outdoors - and we had two rooms, one on each wing (though we were travelling as a family of 4). The rooms, towels/linens were extremely clean and well presented - bed was comfortable. Bathroom a little odd with shower so close to toilet, and no separation of flooring between toilet and shower - so when you showered water covered much of bathroom floor. Hot-tub(s) was clean and very hot - fantastic to relax in after day of exploring.

The hotel is well located in the south of Iceland, near many attractions. The room is small but nice, they have a hot tub and sauna that is a nice touch. The Restaurant and the breakfast has very good food. But the staff is amazing, one of them Sigurjon, was very helpful with our trip itinerary and gave amazing recomendations.

The overall stay was nice, the room was clean and the food was good, but there was one thing that drastically lowered my rating on this hotel, the bartender. At around 18:00 (6 pm) I was with my boyfriend and we stood in line at the bar, the guy in front of us ordered a mojito and a beer and he paid 2.060 isk for the whole thing. When we went to order, my boyfriend ordered a beer and I was about to order a mojito. The bartender must've saw that I was looking at the cocktail menu because he blurted out "I'm not doing cocktails right now" and mind you I didn't even say a word. So me being so pissed I decided to just not get anything to drink. My boyfriend paid for his drink and the bartender saw that I was pissed, then proceeded to come up with a lame excuse "I just don't have time for it", the restaurant was almost empty... Anyways we sat down and were discussing this and the bartender saw, he then said "excuse me, I can make it now, what do you want?", I ordered a mojito, he was not even 2 minutes making it, then charged me 2.600 isk for it. Later that evening there were more staff on duty. I walked up to the bar to ask the same guy which cocktail was cocktail of the day and he didn't answer my question, instead said "I can't make you a cocktail now, I don't have time for it" and I told him that I wasn't ordering just asking, he THEN answered my question. The guy spoke spanish and had half of his hair shaven and half of it in a bun, beware of this guy if you want good service. But the other staff was so nice, so this guy totally ruined our stay. Truth to be told, I will not be going there again. The only reason I'm giving the service 3 stars is because of the waiter that served us at dinner.

The 2-bedroom apartment was very comfortable and serene. Lovely room with private hot tub. However, we experienced a lot of trouble with the temperature of the hot tub and the hotel staff unfortunately did not following up regularly throughout our stay to make sure the hot tub was a the right temperature. We had contact the staff again and again and ask them for help.

Service at dinner was poor, needed more staff. Our food was cold. We needed to send our food back and wait 15 minutes for new. The hot tubs were nice, it would be good to have slippers with you to walk from your room to the hot tubs.
