We travelled from Dublin to Connemara- Westport - Sligo - Donegal with our caravan and finished our tour with four nightes at Derrylahan. We didn't use the hostle but the facilities where great. a decent kitchen and eating area. What made the stay here was Shaun and the staff. Shaun was the perfect host with a very natural laid back...

Stayed here for 2 nights camping and can't praise this place enough. Beautiful campsite at a lovely location in an unspoilt area of Donegal. We opted to Camp and facilities were excellent. Toilets, shower rooms very clean as was well equipped campers kitchen. Had a look at one of the hostel rooms too and looked really clean and comfortable. Owner...

Five of us stayed here for three nights and no-one wanted to go home. It has everything you want for a holiday... Comfort, friendliness and the views from the garden looking over Teelin Bay and Slieve League, they are spectacular. Can't wait to get back there..

We didn't stay in the hostel itself as we were in our camper so can't comment on the rooms. However the campers kitchen is great-very well equipped with plenty of areas to cook, a fridge and freezer, kettle, toaster, wash up facilities etc. The setting is beautiful up on the hill overlooking the river and out to sea. We were...

16 of us stayed here for 2 nights while on a walking weekend. The hostel owner, Shaun, is a great example of friendly Irish hosting. He's one of a kind, nothing is too much trouble, he goes out of his way to go that extra mile ( so to speak ). The hostel is very clean, secure, warm, all cooking...

My wife and i found this wee piece of heaven, we were met by hens, geese and a friendly dog called Lucky. We met Shaun who owns and runs the hostel and camp site, we were made to feel at home so much so we stayed a second night. We will be back soon thank you Shaun.

Excellent hostel with wi-fi in common areas. The very friendly host, Shaun, is a wealth of information on local hikes, amenities and activities, and the location is extremely beautiful with hikes from the door. A car is helpful but not essential, good supermarket and pubs 3 km away in Kilcar.

On first impression the hostel is a little run down however the facilities were excellent and very clean. Electric hot shower and beautiful camp site, imaculately kept. The price was very good at €8 each per night. We really enjoyed the stay here and it felt rural, but had all the essentials just a short walk from the campsite. A...

Arrived to camp here on 15th to a very warm welcome and a great price. The site had everything that you could possibly need right down to a hairdryer. Showers were free, unlike other sites, and were clean. Scenery was great too. Moved on to a site further south that charged more than double, additional cost for shower and had...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt really welcome thanks to the hospitality of the lovely owner Shaun. Lucky is the cutest tourguide ive ever seen and he happily lead us to the beach whenever we wanted. The kitchen was really well equipped and the board games available in the lounge were great fun too! Only little suggestion I would make...
