We had a little problem finding the place at first but when we arrived it was everything we expected. The host and hostess were very nice and offered us lunch (wild boar with olives) and a nice bottle of their wine from their vineyard.

My advice to who every book buonriposo is to bring everything from toilet paper, paper towels and dish washing detergent. They proved the first roll of toilet paper.

We stayed at the Melograno Appt beginning of July with our two children (4-6 yrs). The appt is clean and functional with a ceiling-fan in each of the bedrooms (a must in the summer). There are mosquito-nets on all windows but with an extra electrical device in the bedrooms we had no trouble at all during the nights. The internet connection in the Melograno appt doesn't work (wifi signal too low) but on the terrace in front of the house or near the main court the signal was fine.
The swimming pool is fantastic especially with the children! During the two weeks we were hardly never more then 8-10 people around the pool which was very pleasant. (probably because of the many places to visit in the surroundings) Only minor about the pool (in the middle of a vineyard) are the "Horse-flies" from time to time. At the end of our stay we had forgotten a pair of shoes which the owners kindly send us back! All in all a memorable stay in Italy.

I visited Buonriposo for one week in August 2013 and it was absolutly perfect. The apartment was really large and nice, the swimming pool was beautiful, everything was clean, The owners were nice, helpful and theif wine was very good. I can recommend the Argitourismo for a family trip with children becouse it is calm and quiet. The surroundings is hilly and the small village is friendly (or people there). Every importent city (Volterra, San Gimignano, Pisa, Firenze, Siena) is about one hour and the see two. Great holidays!!!

I stayed here with my family, and loved it! It's a true working farm, where they make their own wine and olive oil. For your use, there is high speed internet, and also a swimming pool, which is nice to use during the hot Tuscan summer days. It's a perfect place for relaxing in the evening outside of the apartment, while looking at the countryside. There are paths to walk to the quaint village of Corazzano, or just a lovely stroll through the vineyard. One evening, we walked to the village and had a wonderful meal at La Taverna dell'Ozio, which I recommend! If you want more than a tranquil day, then the agriturismo is close and central enough to take in the sights at cities nearby, like San Gimignano, Siena, Florence, Pisa, and Volterra. The owners are very charming, and only want to help you have the best stay possible!

My fiance and I stayed here for a week. I have very mixed feelings on the accommodation, so will provide below two lists of the positive and negative points of the accommodation:

POSITIVES:

- close to Pisa airport.
- great restaurant five minutes away in Corrazano (the town in which the agritourismo sits)
- friendly owner who gave us a free bottle of the wine produced on the property
- fantastic pool with wonderful views
- nice outdoor table provided
- nice outdoor areas - lovely grounds with vineyards
- internet provided

NEGATIVES

- apartment didn't have a comfortable indoor space - it had one uncomfortable sofa bed but no where comfortable on which to sit inside, meaning that when we felt like lounging around, we had the bed or dining chairs!
- the apartment was missing some basics - eg, no kettle, no toaster.
- strange things weren't provided - eg there was only one roll of toilet paper for a week, no dishwashing detergent or sponges for cleaning (there was no dishwasher).
- the shower didn't have a proper recess, meaning the lounge room tended to flood whenever we had a shower.
- not close to the major towns, eg Sienna etc, which are a fair drive away, even though they don't appear it on the map!
- aside from the one restaurant in Corrazano, every other place to eat is a decent drive away, as the agritourismo isn't located near any of the bigger small towns.
- bit noisy - right above the wine cellar with lots of people coming and going very early in the morning and waking us.

We stayed at Buon Riposo in 2004 for the first time. We have spent quite a few holidays in Italy and Buon Riposo is our favourite place. We keep coming back. My husband and I have been on our own, with our children - also in their teenage years - and with smaller and larger groups of friends.
The flats are nice, very clean and equipped with most needed household tools. The outside area is very charming, extremely well kept with lawns and flowers. The tranquility we find here, we find nowhere else.
There are several fascinating renaissance towns within reasanable driving distance and thera are many recommendable restaurants in the surrounding area.
The hosts, Cristiana and Sergio, are very nice and friendly people and always helpful in finding new restaurants, places to visits etc.
We can higly recommend Buon Riposo for holiday stays.

The moment we arrived at Buon Riposo it was everything I imagined Tuscany to be: we We stayed for two weeks and loved every minute of it. Buon Riposo is a fabulous home base from which to explore all of Tuscany.
Crisitiana and her family treated us just like a family. We stayed in the Glicine apartment: and it was amazing, beyond our expectations: it was a renovated house attached to the main house and overlooking hectares of olive trees and vineyards. The accommodation were very nice and clean: the view from our patio was breathtaking and the pool was refreshing.
There is a small hamlet nearby ( we walked along a path in the nice country) where we shopped for local foods and an excellent restaurant La Taverna Ozio.
We would go back, it was an absolutely stunning location. Thank you, Buon Riposo for the wonderful vacation.

Very nice place to relax with the family. Silent place.
Beautiful pool area, we used most of the days there.
We had a car, and had day trips to Pisa, Lucca, San Gimignano, Chianti-area and so on.

The 2 bedroom house we rented was large, and had most basic equipment you need. In my opinion they could have offered toilet paper and washing liquids, a small cost for the owner, but more easy for the guests. The rental was rather expensive, so one could expect toilet paper at this price.

Lovely to have a private patio outside.

The only negative is that there was a lot of small ants around in the living room and bath room. We never had the front door open, so the ants were inside, and came out from the base board. Washed the floor every day, this helped a lot. We were mostly outside in the sun, so the ants was not a big problem.

A lot of mosquitos outside, but I guess this is normal in the countryside in Italy.

A 3-star house. But because of the beautiful pool area and garden - we give 4 stars.

An enjoyable week in our spacious apartment (the Margherita), with great views and lots of outdoor space. Our host was welcoming and sorted out any problems quickly. Beautiful pool area with lovely view. Very pleasant wine available, produced on the farm. Would highly recommend. Good wifi on most days.

We stayed at Buon Ripiso for 8 nights with 2 children aged 4 and 7. We had booked one of the smaller apartments, but due to renovations, we were kindly upgraded to a much bigger apartment "Il Glicine". The personal greeting complete with samples of wine from the vineyard were a lovely touch. We had heaps of room, shuttered windows to keep out the light and the heat, and also a fan to help keep us cool at night. The bed was really comfortable, and it was great having a full kitchen and dining table. Shower was good also. We agree with one of the other reviewers in that we were surprised to find only one toilet roll, no dishwashing liquid, but more importantly - no wine glasses!

The countryside around the apartments isn't particularly charming, but the view from the pool is lovely. The gardens are also gorgeous, with a small orchard, lovely lush hedges and star jasmine everywhere. The kids had hoped there would be some other children to play with, but had a great time regardless. It is very quiet, and easy to visit nearby towns of San Gimignano, Volterra and if you want a similarly stunning town away from the tourist crowds, Certaldo. We also enjoyed the short stroll across the field to the tiny (not attractive, but functional) village and a lovely cafe where the kids devoured the thickest hot chocolates they have ever had. The coffee was great there too.

We have been travelling for some months now, and were hoping to spend a good part of the week at Buon Ripiso planning onward travel via the internet, Skyping home so family could talk to our son on his birthday, and my husband needed internet connection for work. Unfortunately, despite the promise of internet access, they provided only a mobile thumb-drive internet connection, which was shared among the guests. The speed of it was awful, and this unfortunately meant that we had to go into one of the nearby towns and pay for internet and work hard to keep the kids amused while we did what we needed to do. We felt that this service should have been more accurately described in the website. You should also be aware that the sat TV advertised is in a indoor/outdoor communal room, rather than in the apartments and it's not easy to use (we didn't use it at all).

We thank our host for the notes: in 2009 our wifi system was too simple and limited and observations are correct. The following year we changed the system completely and now we have two wifi areas that cover the whole property, the connection is possible by all outdoor areas, including the swimming pool, private terraces of houses and indoor spaces. The wifi connection is always active and totally free and gratis: the speed is excellent. We have also increased their holdings of wine glasses and new material for the bathroom.
