Firstly, staff were lovely and location ideal. It's a bit tired but we had a lovely suite and great balcony. Sunset Grill was our favourite restaurant and staff were funny and lovely. The infinity pool area was our favourite and would be an ideal location for an adults only pool. We stayed at the Hilton last year and their adults... More

The restaurant is very noisy with a lot of German tourist the best rooms are with a sea view, the aquarium of Malta which is nearby the hotel has no interest. A bus station is near the hotel and you have a lot of bar and restaurant not far from the hotel

On entry the reception is spacious and impressive. We were given the keys to our room, a superior sea view with balcony so used the lift, to the 6th floor with our luggage etc, entered our room which was ok but the not anything as plush as the reception, looked at the balcony, it was no more than two feet... Booked a superior sea view which was lovely but i would recommend booking a standard sea view room as the only difference is a table and chairs and tea and coffee making facilities. That said the room was great and the balcony was big enough to sit out on. We arrived in time for lunch on the first day (we... More

Loved the food and the venue. Friendly, polite staff made our visit a success. We were upgraded to a Sea view room. Felt uplifted every time walked into room with such a lovely view. The weather in November can be quite changeable but it was wonderful to be away from freezing cold England.

This Hotel rates itself as 4 star and it might have been when it first opened but it is now looking a bit tired and dated, the staff are now mainly Bulgarian and their personalities are not the usual Maltese that we have always loved ( these hotels are always looking for the next cheapest labour workers) but this hurts... Dolmen Resort is perfectly located right on the northeast coastline of Bugibba on one side and next to Bugibba bus terminal on the other side. The room was on the inland side of the hotel, very spaceous except the bathroom, clean and well maintained. Buffet breakfast has enough variety of food available. In low season the hotel has normal prices,... More

Stayed here for a week with my boyfriend with bed and breakfast. Unfortunately we arrived during the worst storm Malta had seen for years but all we can do is laugh hey? Check in was quick and the receptionist Cindy was very professional. Our room wasn't quite ready but with a map of the hotel in hand, we went for... More

The dolmen resort hotel promises so much it’s what attracted us both to it, the reception promises so much it looks classy if a little dated. It’s not till you get to your room after walking with your luggage down an endless curved corridor with a worn out stained and dirty carpet you realise you have been misled by whoever... More
