This hotel is 2 star at the most. The staff are really good, the breakfast fine with a choice of hot or cold. The location is amazing but the hotel its self is tired and in need of refurbishment. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room and nowhere to obtain one in hotel other than at meal times.Wi-Fi in lounge and...

I was slightly nervous reading other feedback about this hotel, but was soooo pleasantly surprised. It says it's a 4 star hotel (that's a Malta rating) but it's a good 3 star hotel. Rooms are clean and comfortable, plenty of space and great wet room. Little fridge doesn't hold much was I wasn't even expecting one, so that was a...

Stunning position in St Pauls bay, perfect setting. Well appointed rooms kept very clean. Breakfast was a wonderful experience, everything we wanted and more. Staff went above and beyond the required service. Will defunately stay again, a dream holiday

As a regular visitor to this area of Malta I have stayed in most of the hotels around Qawra, Bugibbar , and St Pauls bay, without any serious complaints. I looked at the Gillieru when passing and decided to give it a try after reading the reviews. Well I think they must write their own. Its certainly not what its...

Our stay was from the 2nd May for one week. I had read most reviews and agree with some comments although I think some people like to moan about small things. Yes the deco is dated but I didn't go on holiday to look at the deco. Our room was 510 with fabulous sea view. Our balcony had enough room...

We stayed here for a week and the hotel is in a good location overlooking St Paul's Bay, but it does need some attention. The rooms are a bit dated and in need of a thorough clean, but otherwise comfortable and adequate for a short stay. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which we would...

The only advantage of this hotel is its position before St Paul's Bay proper, so it is relatively calm. Nice view overlooking the bay. On arrival we had to ask for the room to be cleaned (chewing gum on the floor and stuck to the side of the phone on the bedside table). No mattress or pillow protectors. Breakfast very...

The hotel is in a lovely position, a sea view room is well worth paying the extra. The staff are friendly and helpful, with the exception of the dining room staff who looked and sounded as though everything was too much effort. The room was clean , shower was good, but the furniture is old and dated. The big draw...
